- Great TV Review by veve

We purchased this tv a year ago and it's still running strong! My husband and I absolutely love this tv and prefer it over our emerson 32 inch tv that we have in our bedroom. This tv has a high quality picture and although it only comes with one HMDI port we think it makes a perfect tv for our small living room! I will continue to buy from Vizio!

- Limited connection to other devices Review by joelvet
-
I was surprised to find that the 32" LCD has only one HDMI port and one coaxial port.
It is a serious limitation since you can not connect an aditional DVD for example.
The sound is better than average, the picture quality is good, during the 8 weeks I had it there were no malfuntions.(Posted on 10/8/11)

great tv -- like the simplicity of the remote - the PROBLEM is all of the numbers and letters have been printed onto the buttons, so about 2-3 months after owning it, these letters and numbers all wore off - have to guess at what button i am pushing!

- Great TV for the price Review by Karen
-
Spring 2010 I bought the 32" for my bedroom and just love it. Very easy to watch laying down. I'm not a HD picture "snob" but I LOVE the quality!!
My problem is the remote - It doesn't always connect when I hit the buttons. I have to hit the remote on the palm of my hand to get it the connect. Doesn"t matter if it is the channel or volume buttons. My dad bought the same model about a year earlier and it has the same problem. NO it is not the batteries!! Anyone else have this problem??(Posted on 1/3/11)

I bought this 32" vizio TV a yr an a half ago.... my 27" Zenith .. Kicked the bucket :( Not before she gave me 15 yrs of Great TV viewing for $275.00.. May the TV god's rest her picture tube..
I did'nt want to wait a year or so for the price to drop.. So i paid out the door $450.00,,, I know ...That much,,??? @ wal-mart to..go figure..??? But i needed a TV,,, I believe it was a new model then ???? I looked an compared looked some more an compared, dropping 450 i wanted to get the biggest bang for the buck.., you know how they line up all those TVs to compare, but then your not really sure till after you get it home an set up,, All the different selections and the lights in the store one might make bad judgement,,, But i always came back to the Vizio,, So i bought it.....and what their going for now and what i paid, i dont feel one bit cheated .. This TV is the "Bee's Knee's"...!!!! Not one flaw.... User friendly, Awesome picture,, Sound is not shabby very adequate ... Low volume or high.. Only bad thing is ,, It's not made here in the states,, Hopefully we catch up to the foreign markets... Education kid's,, America needs better Schools...ok im off my soap box...;)
All these reviews say it all,,, the only thang i can add is this TV is "Titty Wiggle" dude or dudette which ever you may be...!
Merry Christmas & Have a Happy Azz New Year...!!
ps. By the way i bought this TV for my Brother and his Wife this year an paid $308.00 out the door,, @ Sam's Club

- Excellent Price to Performance Ratio Review by BeeCee
-
My parents won this TV at a Company Christmas party. They weren't interested in HD at the time so they were going to return it (the receipt was provided for any warranty issues) and use the cash for something else. I had been wanting an HDTV for a couple years, and now that one was available, there was no way I was going to let them return it. I bought it from them for $350.00 and took it home. This model doesn't support 1080p or 120hz refresh rates, etc., but after viewing a few DVDs as well as my local broadband HD service, it doesn't appear that I'm missing that much. The picture is excellent, and the sound is adequate. I have a surround system so I never really use the TV speakers. This 32" model is actually perfect for a bedroom. A few months later I purchased a larger model with 1080p support for my living room. Once my parents saw the picture, they ran out and bought one which I installed at their home. Once you experience HD, it's very tough to go back. I find that I exclusively tend to watch just the HD channels via the HDMI input, which says something about how much HD programming is now available.
Just like when cable internet came out and now the idea of going back to dial-up is practically out of the question, HDTV is also such an extensive leap forward past the previous technology that reverting back to tube TV's as a primary viewing source just doesn't seem plausible. I applaud VIZIO for making the technology affordable. A low cost LCD HDTV is easy to handle as it's very lightweight for a TV set (plasma TV's are 50 lbs plus) and at these prices, just about anyone can upgrade their home entertainment system and see what they've been missing. Sentimental about your old tube TV? Place it in a spare room or donate it to a needy friend. Once you experience HD, you too will likely never want to go back either.(Posted on 9/24/10)
- I like it (them) Review by Satisfied customer

What can I add to the reviews already in place for this TV? Not very much; every good thing about it seems to mentioned somewhere in the many reviews.
I never heard of VIZIO so I really shopped the brands, many of which I knew well. Sadly, as noted in one review, most are not American made.
At any rate, I decided on VIZIO and am not sorry at all. In fact, I like it so well, that when my last Big Box died, I didn't waste a minute even thinking about what to buy to replace it. I am most happy about my decision to try VIZIO. Both TV's have good color, sharp definition, and great surround sound. I think I bought the right sizes for my use and the prices were right. I am enjoying them and hope to do so for the far future.(Posted on 6/17/10)

I went to Sears to buy the 1080p version of this T.V. because it was on sale for cheaper than this one, but when I got there the sale was over, so I came home with this one instead. I love this T.V. The picture is great, the sound is great. Now I just need to get HDTV Cable so that I can view its full potential

- Awesome TV with an Awesome Price! Review by GinaJ
-
I bought this TV for the living room in my new apartment. I went to Costco because they had a 26" Sony on sale, but they were out of stock. I looked at the various models they had on display and found this 32" for $325. The picture and sound clarity were even better than the same size Sony model. I couldn't get it to the check stand fast enough! The picture is fantastic. The sound is really great too and I haven't even hooked up my surround sound yet. I would recommend Vizio to anyone looking to buy a new TV. They blow the doors off all the competition! I'll be upgrading that little TV in my bedroom very soon!

- With Quality and Bargain Value like this, I will ONLY BUY VIZIO FROM NOW ON! Review by Evan
-
So I'm pretty much just like the rest of some of the other people on here: I wanted a flat screen HDTV, and I'm cheap. I waited and waited, and bought this TV. I too got it for $378 at the same vendor some other people have mentioned already. My wife likes that VIZIO tv's get given away on the Ellen show- *HINT* to Vizio: your product placement is in the right place AND working. Anyway, I liked the rock bottom price. And, we both consider ourselves *moderately* green-ish so the 85watt max power drain was a big plus for the environment and our wallets.
As for the TV- I think it's great. The functions were easy to figure oput and use. The remote is simple and the tv itself is light (good to know for renters who move alot- not all lcd-tvs are feather light) and it feels pretty well made. It was also a snap to assemble with only one thumbscrew and just the base to put on. As an added plus- VIZIO makes the replacement remotes REALLY INEXPENSIVE and easy to get. It's nice that they understand some of us have kids, pets, break stuff, lose stuff, etc, and value my business more than taking my money when I need a remote- thanks VIZIO! As an added bonus- I saw that
Anyway I'm not really sure about the tech specs. It looks great and I think I got a fantastic value and price- Isn't that all that matters? Sure, there are people who could probably get picky and find reasons to buy another set- but I like that I have a 32" lcd tv that burns less wattage than the lightbulb above it. Hats off VIZIO!
Anyway I'm currently looking into buying a bigger ECO model for the living room soon and a smaller model for my kids room. Thanks VIZIO- please just keep up the QUALITY and price and you'll have my business forever.(Posted on 4/1/10)

i had wanted a flat screen for a while and kept waiting for the price to drop (as with any electronics). I literally sat at my computer and did my research comparing price, warranty, screen size, etc. Taking my notes into the store, I looked at the top 3 on my list. While I stood there i kept looking back and forth, different angles, etc. comparing the picture quality and sound. I bought the Vizio, got it home, and was BLOWN AWAY at the ease of use and the quality-the price and value are unbelievable!!! I have just purchased my second Vizio for the living room. If you are looking to purchase a new tv., look no further as it would be crazy to throw away money (like I have done in the past) because of wanting a particular brand name. I guess there is a reason Vizio has become the number one selling tv. in America!!

I bought this tv a few months ago, and wow what a great picture it has, and the sound is just right also. I own a ps3 and xbox 360 and the games appear so Sharp clear and detailed on it, no joke the feild of depth you get with this lcd hd tv is unreal, its as if you are immersed into the veiwing experience. I was watching blu-rays on it in 1080p with. An hdmi cable hooked up to it. Let's just say ill never watch a regular old dvd again. Overall I give vizio a 9/10 because nothing is perfect. Thanks for such a great tv vizio.

I just bought this for my Granddaughter from Sam's Club mostly for the known quality then the attractive price. It was so simple to set up my 4 year old grandson could have done it and he can't read yet. The picture was everything I expected from Vizio. After watching it for a while I am going to go by another one just like it for me.

i bought this product for the price. but i didnt expect what i got. its the best. i bought a dynex months ago and the vizio beats it by a mile. the color is vivid the sound is great. my dynex sounded so bad i have to buy a sound system just to get bass to it but not the vizio. the sound is true and has just the right bass. i didnt have to add a sound system just to get bass. but i did add a sound system for dvd and it sounds like im in the theater. i will buy another vizio real soon im looking for a smaller one for the kitchen and i will buy vizio. thank you im glad i picked this vizio

this is a great tv , i bought it last year around july from walmart . i was looking at the sony and the LG sitting right by it ,and i kept looking back and forward ,back and forward . so i said to myself the sony cost $700 and looks no better than this vizio so i went with the vizio . i went home thinking i was only getting a great 720p tv , but when i hooked up my directv to it and ordered a movie , it displayed in 1080p. i said to myself this is wrong , so i hooked up my ps3 to the tv and sure enough this tv supports 1080P PEOPLE , i watched blu ray movies switching the display from 720p to 1080p to see 'if there was a difference , and there was a pretty big difference people , if you have a ps3 make sure to set it to 1080p, becuase this tv supports it .
what a great buy , and thankyou vizio for making it possible(Posted on 2/5/10)

I bought my first one about 7 months ago and have been really impressed with it. The clarity of the picture is remarkable and the price couldn't be beat.. until now! When my old 20" set started going out I knew exactly what I wanted to replace it with. I purchased another one yesterday and it was $50 cheaper than the previous one. My next purchase will be another one as a gift for my cousin..
Thanks for such a great product at a reasonable price!(Posted on 2/1/10)

Rec'd this TV as a gift from my wife's parents. Only had it for about a day, but so far, we're very pleased. Picture is crisp, even looks good when zoomed in on a 480i/480p source. We have been looking at HDTV sets for some time, but hadn't yet decided on a brand or model. If this model continues to perform this well, then we'll definitely consider VIZIO for future purchases.
Xbox 360 hookup was a snap, and music games (Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc.) didn't even need adjustments for A/V lag.
Would have preferred another set of component inputs on the back panel, but having to run cables to the side inputs is in no way a deal-breaker.
9/10, only because nothing in this world is absolutely perfect! :D(Posted on 1/31/10)

My husband and I bought this TV for our living room yesterday. We got it at Sam's for $358 WOW!!! Nice price, the picture is so good, we are going to buy one for our bed room. We love the clarity of this TV, and how easy it was to set up. We also bought a HD 1080P DVD to use on this TV, Video's look so unbelievably good, even better than going to the movies. I guess we will have to get another HD 1080P DVD to go with the TV we are getting for the bed room. My husband was kind of concerned about VIZIO's quality, because it was so inexpensive, but he is a TOTAL CONVERT. IT'S VIZIO ALL THE WAY FOR US NOW! I have researched this TV for months, and have heard only good things about it. You cannot go wrong with this, or any VIZIO HDTV. Do yourself a favor and just get one.....You'll love it!

This is my 2nd Vizio. The first which is the VO47LF which i bought 3 years ago. That is why i decided to buy one for the bed room. I haven't had any throuble with the VO47.
The VO32E is a great t v out of the box. I set the tv on custom setting and set the tv to my liking problems. I had it set up within minutes. Today hooked up the HD cable box and the picture is better the 47 in the living room. Vizio never stops improving their products. I purches the tv at walmart and saw other brands and vizio can stand up to any brand.
Keep up the good work.(Posted on 1/26/10)

I purchased this set as a replacement for a 14 year old Magnavox. The other TV was fine I just wanted something new. This TV was reviewed well and after a month of looking around the net I found this beauty. I went to my local Walmart and looked at it on an HD feed next to an LG, a Samsung, and one other TV. This set looked better than all of the rest and I made my decision on the spot. I am using it on SD cable and it looks just fine. I also have an upconvert DVD player and it looks FABULOUS! No complaints here, 50,000hr half life, that is more than enough longevity for me. Vizio all the way.

Great for my video game setup. I have the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and they both go up to 1080p even though the box displays 720p. If you don't believe me, see it for yourself. Currently, I am running both my consoles on component cables and I am going to upgrade to HDMI soon! However, there is no headphone jack to put on your headphones or computer speakers. All in all, I get to enjoy watching my blu-ray movies on 1080p and other channels or movies on HDquality.

you cant get much better than this for the price. picked up up on sale for $427.00.
used it as a computer monitor for gaming for awhile. before my wife insisted that we actually use it as a television.
as a monitor i didnt get as high of a resolution as i wanted. only 1366X768. but after i messed with my graphics card settings and set it up as a t.v. rather than a monitor the problem was solved.
most people use this just as a television. but if your looking for something to plug in an htpc of to use as an actual monitor, have no fear. this thing is great. rather than hooking up a vga cable (which is analog) id suggest using a dvi to hdmi cable. (if your pc has a dvi I/O). that way you can get HD.
i went with the 720p because i rip my movies to my PCs hard drive. and 1080p just takes up way too much space for my liking.
the sound is average. nothing to get too excited about. but you can find good sound bars with woofers of surround sound systems for cheap. or you can go my route and hook it up to a decent shelf system.

My first HDTV. I am only receiving over air broadcast so I was worried I'd be dissapointed, but I am not. Even using just a 20 year old antenna on the roof this looks great! DVD and Xbox also look fantastic! Some broadcasts are in 1080i and I can see slight difference from the 720p and honestly, durring a football game, I prefer the 720p, it's a bit smoother during action. Great set, especially for this price.

Bought my 1st at Costco 2 yrs ago. My wife bought 2 more (same model) for 2 of the bedrooms. Was looking at Samsung and a few others but decided"why bother" The 1st TV has been trouble free ( except with issues from Comcast) so why switch. great value for the money

- I LOVE My VIZIO Review by JimEdMo

I bought my VIZIO at the local Wal-Mart, as an open-box return. Needless to say it was considerably cheaper. I bought it for my basement and I'm planning to buy 2 more for my kids rooms. I plan on filling my house with VIZIO. Good-bye RCA....Hello VIZIO!!!
I absolutely love your products!!!!(Posted on 11/18/09)
- 4 and counting Review by Buzz

This is our 4th Vizio. Our first was a 42in for the living room. Since then we have bought 2, 32in Vizio's, one for my wife's Hair Salon and one for our game room in the basement. Wasn't going to get another one for a while, but the price at Sam's Club just told me to replace the old 27in RCA tube set in our bedroom. The picture and sound can't be beat. I'm a Vizio fan. We buy a new one every year.

- Very Nice ...... Wonderful Price Review by Opie Cunningham

Even though I am a guy that loves high tech .... gettin' a new tv just wasn't on my agenda until my old 27" that I bought in 1993 played it's last show. After going to a few stores and comparing the prices / features I decided to pull out tha wallet & bet the farm on Vizio. WOW - and i'm glad I did .... i've only had mine for a short time now but it was worth EVERY PENNY !!! Now my friends come over & write down the Model No. so they can go and get one too ..... Very nice picture & great features ( not to mention the wonderful price ) . OK Vizio - you have moved me from " the dark side " .... I am now a fan & will buy two more for the other rooms.
THANKS AGAIN(Posted on 11/8/09)

I needed to upgrade to an HDTV. It was an easy setup and didn't take long. Picture looks great on PS3 or Xbox 360.

- Nice for the Price Review by Dave

I've been watching ads for Vizio for a while during football games. When my old 27" RCA finally quit it was time to get a new set in the bedroom. This is definitely well worth the price. It has a very nice picture, crystal clear, and easy to set up. I'm eying up some Vizio big screens for the living room for my next purchase.

CNET Looking for an HDTV for the bedroom, den, game room, or wherever? A 32-incher might be just the right size. Dell has a Vizio VO320E 32-inch LCD HDTV for $359 shipped . It's new--not a refurb. That's right: new! Take that, all you folks who were griping about refurbs! (Just kidding. I welcome the griping: It lets me know what you like and don't like. Well, mostly what you don't like.)READ MORE »
