We bought this 60 in. tv on 6-8-13. It's not our first Vizio so I know they are nice tvs. The TWO complaints I have are that we now have to use 3 remotes instead of 1. And that the speaker on this tv is on the back of the tv. The sound is towards the wall.????? So I had to hook the old surround sound to this tv . So we have a tv remote, a satalite remote, and a surround remote. My other Vizio has speakers on the sides. and until we set this one up it didn't dawn on me that they were towards the wall. By the way over a $900.00 tv.

Bought this TV in March. After 2 weeks it started powering off. Called customer support & they had me reboot the TV. The problem came back while I was on the phone with Customer Support. They told me they would send me a new TV in 7 to 10 days. The New TV arrived & it has been awesome! Great TV along with great customer service center that is located in the US is a plus for buying a Vizio product.

Bought this TV 3 months ago and could not be happier with it. Picture is great, better than I thought any picture could be. Sound is great! I love watching Netflix on it. The LED screen really bring the picture out to you.
I have enjoyed this too much. Have to get outside more. Baseball games are so good, I don't want to go to the games. Best seat is at home now.
I will add a surround sound system too. The new Vizio S4251W surround in on order just now. The TV was under $1000 and surround sound for $350, I will have a dream system for movies, ball games, Tv and music. My wife was not happy when she saw the size when I set it up, but now she invites her mother over to watch the ball game. They are both big fans of the Brewers! Great value and great system, Look forward to years with this system, my last system lasted almost 15 years before I upgraded. That was an RCA.

Vizio - Great Company Review by John W.

This is my second Vizio HDTV. I purchased a 32" LCD about three years ago and it's been flawless. I purchased this product last week and I am absolutely thrilled with the TV.

The setup was so easy, I never looked at the instructions. It receives my wifi signal, and after signing in to my network, I updated the apps, and have really enjoyed watching movies on Netflix, videos on Youtube, etc. I have a 1 mb speed system. I select a movie, hit pause and go do something for about five minutes or so. When I return, no buffering, etc. Movies are crystal clear - even old ones.

I researeched and hit various stores for over six months - the Vizio is as good as anything out there. This company proves you can still get high quality without price gouging.

Count me a longterm fan!

After having upgraded from a 32" flat screen to this 60" i honestly dont understand why i didnt do this earlier!! It has by far the best screen i saw of ant models in the store. For anyone that is looking for a new tv i suggest you save some time and head straight for your nearest vizio dealer, if i had the wall space in all my rooms i can say without a doubt that this tv would be every where in my house

We had seen the TVs in SAMs and wondered about the manufacturer. Have two other TVs that are LGs. Very satisfied. This Visio was advertised at Walmart at such a good price on TV ad. Called local store and they had one left. Went to purchased and it rang up less than was advertised. When called to register it was told about the black screen and was told the warrant would be extended an extra year. Bought in February and the end of March we got the black screen. Great support and new one was sent. Within two days we noticed 3 small lines were visible across the screen from left to right. Called and sent three pictures and a new one is being delivered this coming Tuesday. I didn't have to raise my voice. Only wish I had had the same experience with HP over the years. They caused me to take blood pressure pills every time my computer had a problem. I would recommend this company to anyone. Wish I had trusted them earlier.

This TV not only has been wonderful, Looks excellent and really adds a lot of appeal to an otherwise bland living room. Gaming, Netflix (built in), Sound everything. I have found literally nothing wrong in 5 months of heavy usage.

Within 5 minutes everything was set for them to send me a newly manufactured tv, and set it up and test it at my home for me. Will take 7-10 days, but i couldnt be happier. To know that they stand by their product, even when the finger might land on them, is really a relieving suprise. No one likes problems with $1000 purchases. When my 2 month old Vizio 60" Model E601i-A3 began experiencing picture quality problems, I called customer service for tech support and learned that they recognized the problem and, without hassle, set up replacement. They'll ship, setup the new unit and package the old and take it away in 7-10 business days. I just have to be without my beloved TV for awhile. It truly is a "no-brainer" to set up and love the Wi-Fi capability.

My husband and one of our teens were playing a game console the other night and it literally gave my husband motion sickness. Talked with a CS rep in Iowa (Yay Vizio for keeping US call center jobs in the US).

Very helpful, qualified my serial number and setup the replacement.
Props to Vizio. Manufacturing defects happen. They put out a notice, provided an excellent warranty support resolution, and backup their product 100%.

I feel confident that Vizio has addressed the issue and the replacement unit will not have this problem.

Would buy again. Love this model and the price-to-value is spectacular.

I bought this tv for a vacation home. I have previously bought Panasonic and Samsung plasmas due to their highly rated picture quality, but I could not justify the price of these brands for a home only used part time. When I got the tv set up I was blown away by the picture in this set. It was vibrant, super clear, and extremely detailed. Even a channel that was not broadcasting in HD was super clear and detailed. The HD channels had a blue-ray like quality to them. The only draw back was watching a hockey game, there were some instances where the pixelation/refresh rate couldn't keep up with the puck, but it would only be for a brief moment. A small annoyance in comparisonto the picture quality the rest of the time and the money saved. Haven't watched a golf game yet to see if a golf swing causes the same issue. I would definitely recommend this set.

Like many others, I purchased the TV on Black Friday at Walmart. Never an issue until February 9th, when the picture went completely dark. The sound was not affected. After doing a quick search on the Vizio website, I found that a video chip from a 3rd party supplier was to blame for select serial numbers, which my dad also has one from that batch.
I heard back from my initial email within about 12 hours and called the number provided. The guy I spoke with was in South Dakota (pet peeve of mine when tech support doesn't speak English as a first language), was super nice, understood my frustration, and has me lined up to have a new TV replacement delivered within 7 to 10 business days. My dad will also have his replaced in the same time frame, and hasn't even had issues with his.
Sometimes high end electronics have issues. But I feel much better knowing Vizio stands behind their products with such great customer service.

Called customer service and a new one will arrive to our doorstep in 8-10 days! I am very pleased that they stand behind their products and are extremely helpful when contacted.

My wife spotted this at Walmart for $688
After a little research into this and the 55" Samsung, we chose this one.
LOTS of hours on this thing already..... the playstation looks great(the kids play) and the blue ray movies rock,

The sound comes out of the back. So a sound bar is in my future for bvetter sound. But other than that we are very pleased.

Plenty of hookups for devices. Easy setup. Sturdy base. Great this designed product.
Highly recommend.

Was looking for a tv to replace my 60" Mitsubitsi DLP had replaced my lamp in it but tv was still saying lamp bad off and on looked at many tvs and decided to try this Vizio because of its price and listed features.I'm not easily impressed by a tv but this vizio is impressive best picture I've ever seen so sharp and clear and brings out details that most t.vs I've seen don't I'd recommend this t.v to everyone and that is exactly what I've been doing I give it a 5 star rating.

I bought the 60" LED edge lit smart TV on 12/16/12 - on 2/2/13, day before the Superbowl - the picture went out. Kudos to Tech support and Costco - Tech support can be reached and they are helpful - they gave me my options and since it had been less than 90 days, I took it back to Costco and picked up a replacement. I hoe this one lasts longer! I have noticed the pictures seems brighter, so maybe the other was on borrowed time from the beginning. Having a great product is important, but so far, when issues have been encountered Vizio has come through and they are reachable... also used them to setup CES with receiver.

I also stood in line at Wally World Black Thursday to buy the $688 Vizio 60" LED Smart TV. It was a fantastic bargain and my son and I had the TV mounted on the wall and programed in less than an hour. The picture and bragging rights on a "Bigger is Better" TV was awesome! We had a few picture blackouts, which was easily fixed by power cycling the TV, but at day 58 - the video went completely out. Vizio offered to replace on exchange - props. But I boxed that bad puppy back up and took it back to Walmart! The 2nd TV works great and this time I bought the 3 Year warranty for $69!

I have 2 vizios at home including this one. Never had any problems with vizio. One of my favorite brands. The first one i bought had a purple bar running down the middle of it. Took it for exchange the second one worked perfectly. Purchased mine at best buy for $999 2 days ago. Will ask best buy for a price adjustment. Overall, the best smart tv out there for this price. Great picture and sound. But it's needs a much bigger stand, will teeter if slightly bumped, overall happy with my purchase!

I stood in line on thanksgiving for three hours with my mom and got two of these TVs. When my grandfather said he wanted one but couldn't come out and stand in line I gave him mine. I was heart broken. But I saw it on sale this week at target and I had a coupon so I purchased another one for myself. It was worth the wait! The tv looks great in my apartment and compared to my other hdtvs the picture is perfect and the best quality. This is the first HDTV i have purchased without a single pixel not functioning. (my other brNDS are sharp and sony) the only thing i wish the tv had is a web cam and a built in antenna. (i dont have cable) Im very happy with the TV and so far two of the 3 my family have purchased have no problems. i dont know about my moms becuse its been in the box since she purchased it on thxgiving. if she doesnt open it soon im going to steal it!
pros:
Best value for price/ great sound/not too heavy/love the remote/matte finish

cons:
the stand needs to be larger. A larger stand would give more stability. i feel the tv should not teeter if slightly bumped. for the size and weight it needs a stand that spans the majority of the length.

They've replaced every motherboard inside that tv (total of 3) to make sure the problem is fixed in a matter of a week. Also I wish they had Google Chrome App available on this model, but for the price this is by far the best bang for the buck. Hope this helped

I bought my 60 vizio t.v at Walmart. It was a great price for what you get. I own a 60 inch Sharp Aquos also. They are very comparable except the price. I have had the Sharp for 2 years and it has been fine. However, I was looking for another t.v. for our basement and didn't want to spend a fortune, so I did my research and I felt that this was a great buy. I was right and I would tell anyone looking for something in this t.v size and you don't want to break the bank, this is perfect.

The picture is amazing! The sound could use a little more bass, but is fine the way it is. I plan to run it through my receiver and speakers. This isn't the first Vizio I've owned, and I'm glad I stuck with what worked well! I bought my first Vizio a few years back, a 32". Yea, I was pretty skeptical with the prices being so much cheaper than other well-known brands, but they delivered, and I was happy with my choice. I actually bought a Vizio M550SL on Amazon a week before this model went on sale....for $200 more. Of course, I couldn't pass up the amazing deal, and waited only 2 hours in pre Black Friday lines for this gorgeous thing! It's HUGE, the picture is amazing, and I had to get used to playing games again on my Xbox...imagine the adjustment from the 32" to a 60", and that picture clarity! The 32" now resides in my bedroom, because of course that one still works great as well. I've never had a problem with it. Great TV, great company, great price! I'm interested to check out their computers now!

E601i-A3 The Ideal Television Review by Brian

The E601i-A3 is the best television for the price currently available. I was looking to upgrade my living room television and was primarily looking at the typical big name manufacturers; Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, etc.

I was disappointed with the options available as almost all new large screen LED televisions have glossy screens which reflect everything in the room. It was almost impossible to find a thin profile large screen television with a matte screen. I shouldn't have to turn my living room into a cave in order to watch television.

On my way to purchase the Samsung television, I stopped by Target and stumbled upon the Vizio E601i-A3. This was exactly what I was looking for; ultra thin profile for wall mounting, and a large MATTE screen LED television. And the best part was the everyday price was about 50% less than the televisions I had been considering.

You should consider this television if you are looking for a large, beautiful picture with NO GLARE.

The online apps don't work all that smoothly, and they tend to quit working after a few minutes. But as I use my phone and tablet for apps, I am content not using them on the television.

i waited in line for 6 hours at a walmart, just to be in-convened by transaction issues so that i could not acquire this tv. I bought a 47'' in its place loved it and luckily found out that another walmart had 4 remaining tvs 2 weeks after black friday. i exchanged my 47'' which was hard cuz i did get attached to it, and grabbed a 60'' led vizio just this passed saturday morning. Triumph!

really would've loved if vizio had computers on sale for black friday. but i got next year to look forward to, too.

Another Black Friday buyer. I was #18 out of 36 tv's (Sonora CA). This is the biggest and the best tv I have ever owned. I have a 42" vizio that I bought 5 months ago and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. I put the big one in my room and the little one in the living room and every time I walk by it I can't get over how small it is. I'm so used to the big one. The only thing that I have a problem with is the wifi it loses contact. I know it's part my wifi system. I get my wifi from my landlords house and I have booster. And I can't get line of site. It i had an antena from the tv's wifi I could get it.
All in all THIS IS THE BEST TV ON THE PLANET!!!!!!

I was first one in line on Black Friday at Walmart to buy this tv. In fact, when I saw this ad, I immediately posted an ad and sold my Vizio 55" LCD to buy this one. I'm so glad I did. It's the best value for your money. The picture is so crisp and vibrant and my teenage kids are having a blast surfing the web and playing with apps. I also got a soundboard with subwoofer and I couldn't be happier. I played the Expendables 2, cranked the surround sound and thought I was right there in the midst of all the action, that's how good the picture is. This tv is just as good as those other brands that cost hundreds sometimes thousands more. You could pay more but you wouldn't get more. Go out and get yours today! You'll thank me later.

Hey I bought this on Thanksgiving for the Black Friday sale at Walmart. I was #39 in line and there was only 50 TVs they sold that night. I got there around 6pm. Well worth the money and then some. Super great picture and I love the thin LED technology helps save electricity and is so light compared to older TVs. You cannot do better than this TV especially those cheaper TVs are not even much cheaper. The quality of VIZIO is great and I love it. Go get one you won't be disappointed !!

We also purchased at local Wal Mart for $688.00 at a black Thursday sale. This Vizio replaced a very heavy 50 inch Panasonic plazma which was installed above fireplace. We also have deeper
sound with a Vizio soundbar. Awesome picture but eye level obscures some of the black levels, as we have to look up, but
space works out great with fireplace. All in all a great buy and glad we waited in line for this product.

It would have been nice if the manufacturer had made it easier to access the HDMI, Computer and USB ports when the TV is mounted on the wall. This is not a deal breaker, but would have been more convenient than having to tilt the TV to get at these plug ins.

We purchased this TV from Walmart on Black Thursday/Friday. The store had 20 tv's and we were number 15 in line. I was so glad I was able to receive a number. Once we got the tv home and plugged up the Directv HD box to it; all we could say was WOW.... WHAT AN IMPRESSIVE PICTURE. My husband and I watched TV most of the night. And not to mention the football games, so clear; we could see the blades of grass!!!! Very very nice TV. Now we're going to purchase a home theater system and a bluray player to go along with this TV. What an EXCELLENT BUY!!!! It was well worth the money we spent and some.

The real cinema mode and smooth motion mode make the picture so life like its unbelievable. Almost too unbelievable. During some movies/shows I had to turn it off because it reminded me of a bad telemundo movie the way the camera would move and whatnot. But if my only complaint is that to picture is too real then it must be a good TV! if you have a playstation 3 or Xbox be sure to turn on the game mode setting under settings or you will have a serious lag while playing. Overall I'm very impressed with this TV and would recommend it.

Wow, Wow, Wow...We brought tv from Sams after standing in line 4 1/2 hours and Yes we will stand in line again. My husband Loves to watch tv and I love the apps. What a great buy. Now, I didn't expect to surf the net while watching tv, I have other toys that will handle that however, over all the picture quailty is excellent and the setup was a breeze. Seriously, we have 7 tv's and they are all Vizio except for 1 and it's a Dell but, we love Vizio brand........... I bought the e601i-A3 on Black Friday at Wal-Mart for $688 plus tax to replace a 5-yr old 52" Sharp Aquos at which my son accidentally chucked the video game controller! I must say, this TV has outstanding picture quality for the price. I've compared Samsung, Panasonic, Sharp, and LG, and the Vizio has a comparable picture to all of them (albeit average blacks). Standard settings are a little dim, so do yourself a favor and use the settings posted on cnet for optimum viewing. Very pleased with this purchase, and I hope the Vizio quality will match that which I experienced from Sharp. We'll see in 5 years!

60" Vizio LED SMART TV Review by SOUPS

Got this TV from Walmart on "Black Thursday" for under 700 dollars! I actually initially went up to Walmart to check out there sales and heard of the "line" for the 60 inch - once I knew it was for a Vizio, I was more apt to wait - I figured it would be for a "really off brand" TV. I have had an 32" LCD Vizio TV for 5 years without one problem. Hooking the TV up was a matter of a few cords, power and two HDMIs. The picture is CRYSTAL CLEAR and find it hard to pull myself away from it because it makes movies so much more enjoyable; I'm watching older movies just to see things I've missed! BUY THIS TV! Could not be happier with first Vizio Review by Stynkor

Had to stand in line at local department store to receive this tv for the price of $688.00 for Black Friday. (Sold out online) Researched various tvs online and decided this is the one for me. Very easy set up, only three screws and connect power and cable for cable tv. Wireless smart tv connected very easily after getting familiar with remote control for caps and numbers. Searching for channels was a breeze as it does this automatically and in fair amount of time. Very clear picture, changes channels in average time according to others looked at in stores. The amount of available apps for wifi is great, have not purchased any as of yet. Sound yes I think could be better, but I think that may be the way with most newer tvs so manufactures can possibly make additional money selling extra products. Seems weird to have speakers on the back of tv instead of front but I suppose that would cut into the narrow boarders on the tv. Over all extremely pleased with this purchase and would more than likely purchase another Vizio for other room(s)

Very satisfied with the 60" LED Razor Review by MrRustyII

I got the TV because I mainly stream Netflix through my Wii at 480 dpi on a 27" TV about 8' away (my 60" rear projection Sony had died). I wanted a TV with a large screen because I view it from about 15 feet away. I connected the TV to my home wifi network without any problems and was streaming Netflix within minutes. I'm not used to watching with such a sharp picture (it looks like watching it in real life), so that will take getting used to. The sound is quite adequate for built in speakers, but an augmented sound system would be recommended for a more fuller sound. The combination remote control / QWERTY keyboard has a lot of buttons in a small space and is difficult to use with older eyes and dim lighting, but I'm sure I'll get used to in in no time at all.
My wife got this at Walmart on Thanksgiving night for $730.00 out the door. I thought for sure they would only have one or two of these TVs, but they had 21 of them and she was 14 in line. I looked online quite a bit for TVs in the 60" size and couldn't find anything close to it for the price. This is definitely a TV I would recommend even at the full price of $1.000.00.

Firstly, I would like to start off by saying that this is an amazing television. The colors a rich and accurate. I would recommend to anyone who has this TV to purchase a calibration DVD or Bluray disc to help you adjust the picture settings. It is well worth it to configure your picture settings to get the best possible picture at optimal performance capabilities. This is cheaper and than having a professional tune your TV and almost as effective. Doing this will also provide minimal light leakage around the frame of the screen since this is an edge lit LED. When it comes to purchasing an LED TV the most important aspect(exempting smart features and etc.) is the black levels. This TV is in the same class of other 60" LED televisions that cost $1500 and up. The black levels on this TV are not perfect but people that are most concerned with this, either spend thousands of dollar's on an LED TV or purchase a plasma. But I am a firm believer that LED outperforms plasma with a crisp bright picture and a more uniform picture. Plasma will soon fall behind like DLP, because of rapid technology growth and a higher consumer interest in LED. TV companies will only produce a product that they can sell. And Vizio is a well managed company that deserves a spot on the top shelf. In the future, I will be looking to Vizio first. Amazing in the country customer service and quality products that are affordable shows true value. This is how I will always run my own business. Vizio is the only major producer of LCD televisions that belongs to the good ole' US of A; I am happy to see my hard earned money go to an American company other than another country's economy.

I purchased two of Vizio's e601ia3 just a few days ago. Both of the boxes that house the TV's are not dented or damaged at all. After setting up both TV's I noticed that one of them has light leaking from the edges in three different areas. You can check for this when you first power on the TV when the Vizio logo and black background appear. It is not noticeable if you are watching tv unless you are watching a dark movie(for example: Batman Begins). I adjusted the back light down a bit and it helped dim the light so it is barely noticeable. I decided to call Vizio's customer service instead of taking it back to the store right away for a replacement because a hectic shopping season. I was very impressed with the service and treatment I was given as a first time Vizio customer. It was also nice to speak with someone that I can understand and pronunciate well. Speaking of which, I apologize for any typos due to the fact I am writing this from my phone. I am in the process of emailing them pictures of the TV in my room that has the light leakage. I am eager to see how they will respond to this issue. I may end up having to take the TV back to the store where it was purchased for a replacement.

The only thing that I can reccomend for the future is that Vizio will make the remotes lightup for easier use. The remote is very nice and I love the design. The buttons are not hard to get accustomed to. Although, the buttons are small and I can see many of the baby boomers may have a little difficulty. It would be nice to possibly offer one to purchase in the future that is universal capable with other devices and backlit.

Great TV - How to fix "Laggy" Picture Review by Chuck

Great TV and features! Got this home and out of the box and setup and was wowed by the impressive video quality. I've been running a DLP projector at 120' which is just too much. When playing Video games, I noticed a perceptible 'lag" where I would press my joystick and there would be small delay before my on-screen character moved. I was dismayed and was worried that I'd have to take the TV back. After some digging I found the solution to the problem. First: Switch to the input that the game console is located on. 2. Press Menu >Picture> Picture Mode and change from 'standard' to 'game'. 3rd. Press menu, choose the gear icon for 'settings'. Move down to "Game Mode" selection and change from 'off' to 'On'. Lag problem fixed. It took me a few hours on forums to find out this undocumented fix. Totally happy now!

got a great deal, super purchase Review by Tone

Heard about this for Black Friday @Wal Mart n and had to have it...for the price you just couldn't be it....waited in line for 3 1/2 hrs to get my ticket so that i may purchase the tv.
i got it home turned it on hooked it up and played AVENGERS as my first blu ray on it.
it blew me away with all the different options to get the picture right and it was amazing.
with my surround sound just gives you that extra Authority.
Everyone has said that the power of the speakers wasn't that great but they sound for what they are and on such a slim television they sound great for what they are.

i rate this LED an 9/10 only because it doesn't have picture in picture..other then that i can't find nothing wrong with it. registering the product was easy and i have purchased the extended warranty for 3yrs @ $89.99
they also offer 4yr and 5yr.

its a great buy for the money..and it also sits on Throne with the two really big names in televisions at the moment which are

Samsung and LG....

overall you won't be disappointed but in Love....

I have a small living room and this TV looks fine. I was worried about it being too big. Apparently there is no such thing. The apps are OK, but I would like to see more. The one set back this TV has is that it does not have an internet browser. You can only search through the apps that are available. Again, there are likely more to come. I got this on Black Friday for a ridiculous price and I'm satisfied. I came from a 32" LCD, so it wasn't too difficult to please me.

You simply can not beat this tv for the price. When I first hooked it up though I forgot about the ambient light sensor so the TV appeared to be sort of dark but once I realized it was on I changed the setting and it performed above my expectations. I would definately recommend this TV for anyone in the market for a very good economy price big screen TV.

I saw people spending about the same amount for less hz and resolution. there were only 18 available and i was number 15! I really like how easy it it to set up and its very painless. The remote has short cuts to Netflix and you can customize the VIA setting to your liking. Also the qwerty keyboard on the remotes is nifty. The Youtube app can be paired with a mobile device using either the YouTube website or the mobile app. it is soooo cool. iI bought this tv primarily so i can play my xbox in hd but with this smart tv, there is no need for other devices like the wii, xbox, or smart devices to access netflix or hulu and things like that. i am in love.

I will not lie, I am very choosy and picky when it comes to buying a tv. The reason being is that I want to make sure I am investing in a good name brand that is excellent in quality and very user friendly (for my wife and kids). I came across this tv at Sam's Club for an extremely low price considering that it is a 60" LED smart tv. I am more of a Samsung/ Sony guy, but after reading the reviews and looking at this tv at Sam's Club, I was more than impressed. I did more research and decided to give it a try. After setting up my new tv and watching Black Hawk Down in blu ray, I was blown away. I then tried my cable box and XBOX360 immediately after and I could not believe how amazing the picture on this tv is. Setting up the tv is relatively easy and navigating through the tv is easy as well. I would definitely recommend buying this tv if you are looking for a new LED smart tv. For the price at Sam's Club, you can't go wrong.

We purchased this product a few days ago and are just smitten! We are baby boomers yes, 1 over 50 & 1 over 60 so the easy install was great! The clarity of the video is amazing crystal clear and the sound is very close to a surround sound system!

The price was a deciding factor as well as our previous experience with Vizio! We are finding that it is easy to navigate to Netflix as well as Amazon and the delivery of these products is excellent. We would highly recommend the television to all.

I have been a techie for my entire life and do my best to keep up with the latest technology out there. This tv is packed with the latest in tv technology. Wifi enabled, smart tv, led backlite etc...

Very easy to set up. Awesome picture. Netflix and Hulu work better through the wifi in this tv than any bluray player I have used. Lots of cool apps. Nice remote as well (could use a backlight). Speakers even sound good but who uses them anyways. Got to listen with the surround sound.

All in all can't beat this deal for under $1000.

We purchased this TV from Sam's about 2 weeks ago and we are very happy. We upgraded from a 42'' Vizio that we've had for about 4-5 years before Vizio got popular in the television market. That last Vizio was a solid television and still works perfectly. We never had any problems with it. The price of this television, wifi built in and the qwerty keyboard remote was the deciding factor. We were going to pay twice as much for a Samsung and still have to buy a usb adapter. I do agree that I wish that the manual was more useful looking at it from a less tech savvy prospective. I also wish that the remote had some sort of back lighting to it. I like that the tv automatically detects when I put in a blu-ray movie and changed the tv to hdmi. I would like to minimize remotes and if there is a way to control the cable box with the tv remote then that would be pure bliss. Youtube, Netflix, Pandora...seamless. I agree with someone else the picture got better when using apps. The picture on the television is okay out of the box but we've fine tuned to really meet our needs. I too had to change the smoothing. The sound to me is fine compared to our previous Vizio and it is a lot better than a couple of my friends who have Phillips or Samsung. I have my tv hooked up to an old theater system and it's nice. I can only imagine what it would sound like when we upgrade that as well. Bring it on superbowl!!!

Vizio 60" LED Razor HDTV - Great Buy!! Review by DWatkins

I purchased this TV from Sam's club for slightly less than what it is listed for on Amazon. The biggest headache with this TV was installing the wall mount to my wall (which has nothing to do with the TV). I was pleased to find that the screws to install the wall mount were already included with the TV, since the TV is really thin in profile. They worked perfect. So far, this TV is awesome! There was a little worry, at first, when I initially connected my cable box as I could only get 720p resolution. I was not pleased with the picture. Very disappointed, in fact. Then, I did some research and got my settings to send 1080i HD from my box... TA-DA! Picture is great! It was easy to get the wifi connected in the guide setup. Started using Netflix, YouTube, etc. immediately. The picture is even better when watching videos from the net apps.... YES, even better! I was stunned by the clarity of the app videos, and how well it streams media. I did have to change the smoothing to Medium, as Harry Potter Deathly Hallows looked like a dark soap opera. That was the only setting that I needed to change from factory. And the sound (w/o) external theatre sound was satisfactory. I watched a TNF game and I had to turn around and look behind me as the built-in surround made the announcer in the stadium sound as if he were behind me (across the room from the TV). The apps are intuitive and easy to use. The remote control is great... the full qwerty keyboard on the reverse side saves you from pointing to letters and clicking on each one. The ability to type in your email, search term, etc. removes any annoyances from the experience. Lastly, for the price, you cannot find a better LED TV this size. So far, I am beyond pleased with my purchase. I can only imagine when I connect the external sound system to it. I am recommending this TV for ANYONE looking to purchase a TV. Right now, it is THE best bang for the buck. You absolutely WILL enjoy this entertainment experience.

I am happy with Vizio E601I-A3 Review by Aboo

We bought this TV 10 days ago from Costco. We are happy so far. Youtube and Neflix streaming is awesome. Picture quality is absolutely fantastic. This is my first Vizio TV. I had a 46 inch SONY LCD TV and broke last month(after 18 months). I would rate Vizio next to Samsung.
