I bought this to replace a small 4x3 aspect LCD TV that came in my RV. I chose this TV over the other models I was looking at due to the direct LED and Smart App features.
The direct view LED screen has brighter colors and darker blacks than the 32" LCD TV I used to have and it draws lest than 1/4 the power of the old 32" LCD TV.
I don't have a lot of room for extra gadgets in the RV so having built in Smart TV apps is great. The VIZIO button brings up a scrolling menu of apps on the bottom of the screen or you can directly launch Amazon, Netflix, or M GO from their own buttons. Apps can be added or deleted to/from the menu to suit your own needs.
This TV costs more than the budget 32" LCD TVs but eliminating the external box for internet apps and the energy savings easily make up the difference. If you are replacing a tube TV it will pay for itself in energy savings.
The narrow frame almost disappears into the background when the TV is on and the TV appears smaller than it really is when it's off if you are used to a wider frame. This TV is thinner than most of the other 32" TVs I looked at. There are slightly thinner units in the price range but the other models I looked at didn't have internet apps.
WiFi setup wasn't difficult but the TV does not support Wireless Protected Setup so you have to type in the encryption key using arrow and select keys on the remote. For that matter, every app I set up required typing in account info with the on screen keyboard in the same manner rather than the simpler method of just entering an activation code that some other devices use.
I currently have the WiFi connected to an N router at least 100 feet away and it seems to stream Netflix quite well.
Overall the E320I-A0 is an excellent entry level TV. The built in apps, direct LED and narrow frame set it apart from most other TVs in this category/price range.(Posted on 6/13/13)

Sound is really good, my Sony speakers are horrible, forcing me to buy a sound bar. this 32 INCH TV has a very good picture and setup was a breeze. DOWNSIDE, not enough hookups, when you have cable box DVD player and video game console, none using HDMI, well you get the picture.
Side note, why are there so many reviews for none 32 inch models here?

I finally purchased a Vizio for the master bedroom and removed a 26 years old tube television. I don't expect the Vizio to last 26 years, but the enjoyment of a crystal clear image and great sound has me enjoying the moment. I even connected an Apple TV and the image could not be better.

This is my first ever high definition tv! I love this tv because it's got some cool apps. I can get to YouTube on this and watch my favorite YouTube videos. I can go to my Facebook and Twitter. I can even hear radio stantions from all over the nation on this tv. And the picture's perfect. Keep up the great work!

I PURCHASE A VIZIO TV LAST YEAR FOR MY BEDROOM A 42INCH SMART TV. THE PICTURE AND SOUND ARE AWESOME. I LIKED THIS TV SO MUCH I PURCHASED A 47 INCH THIS YEAR FOR MY LEAVING ROOM WITH A VIZIO BAR FOR SURROUND SOUND. I AGREE WITH THE PREVIOUS PERSON ABOUT THE SOUND ON THE TV. IT IS PERFECT FOR CASUAL TV WATCHING IF YOU WANT MORE AND THAT IS WITH ANY TV ADD A SURROUND SOUND WITH IT. I AM PLANING ON PURCHASING THE 60 INCH VIZIO SMART TV FOR MY LIVING ROOM AND PUTTING THE 47 IN MY BEDROOM AND MOVING THE 42IN TO MY DAUGHTERS BED ROOM. About a month ago our old DLP HDTV started to go out and I dedeicd that I was tired of throwing money at the TV (expensive bulb replacements) so I dedeicd to go with a newer but STABLE technology. After doing a lot of research and wanting the best picture I could get with out breaking the bank, I dedeicd on the VIZIO VF551XVT. There are some people who will tell you to go with a Plasma because you can get a lot more TV for less money than a LCD, especially a LED Back lit TV. Their right, except, what no one mentions is that unless you can control the light in your room where the TV will be placed you will get horrible reflections because most Plasma TV's have very glossy reflective screens. Most (not all) LCD TV's have a matte screen and usually do much better in a standard well lit living room like mine. Also I should mention that Plasma TV's are generally much heaver to mount and consume a great deal more electricity than this TV does. This is Plasma TV's dirty little secret. The VIZIO VF551XVT is a bright LED back lit TV that will work well in a totally dark or well lit room. As for the picture, I bought a VIZIO VBR100 Blu-ray Player to go with it and the picture is stunning! I won't go into a lot of technical details but suffice to say this TV will have all the adjustments that you need even if you want to calibrate the picture as I did. Another poster mentioned the sound as being terrible, I don't think it's that bad? it's not an audio system it's a high end TV, most people will use a surround sound system for great sound, but not to worry the Vizio's sound is just fine for casual TV watching. For those of you who will use the included remote it's a nice back lit multifunction remote control. There have been some people complaining about the fact that this model is 4.961 inches thick! I have never understood the obsession with supper thin? Yes you can get a super thin Samsung at about $500 more! that's $100 a inch to look at the TV side ways and brag to your friends? weird but OK. As for me I have never been happier with a TV than I am now. Got mine for $1876 at Sams Club (sorry Amazon) and I highly recommend this TV, you will not be sorry.
