Vizio = Super products! Review by KatWoman

I bought my VBR100 (blu-ray) back on March and it was the best compliment to my VL320M (LCD TV). Now, two weeks ago my father bought himself a VBR120 (blu-ray) and a E370VL (LDC TV). He was influenced by the quality of my buy and he loves the products purchased!!

Here's a equation: Vizio LCD TV's + Vizio Blu-Ray Players = Super awesome picture, quality, sound, etc...

Get Vizio people, get Vizio.

I would not trade it for nothing it has the best picture i have seen i thought my tv was noce but you pop in a movie it is takes you to whole new world i would recamend this bluray to everyone thank you vizio for making such a great product

Wont Buy Anything But Vizio! Review by Jfro

I first bought my Vizio Tv last year for $398 @ a Boxing Day sale and was a little iffy as Id never heard of Vizio before. However It was that best chose I made & works better and has a far more clear vivid picture then my friends Sony. Just this week A store by me was having a 30 Million Dollar Clear out and had the VBR 100 on-sale for ONLY $48.00! I seen the ad and was up @ 6am and got in line to make sure I got one As it was $48! and Vizio I just could not pass it up. Again one of the best choices Ive made. Unboxing and set up time was literally under 5 minutes and the picture and sound is AMAZING! even if I had paid $150 - $200 I would have been very satisfied I highly Recommend Vizio Over any other Electronic Brand very trouble free!

I bought the Vizio SV420M 42" tv back in February '10 and i gotta tell you the quality of regular dvds was amazing especially when using hdmi. a couple weeks later i got the vbr100 blu ray player (i just had to get matching brand) the quality from regular dvd to blu ray really is impressive...i passed up getting a ps3 for the vbr100 and i am not regretting it at all...Vizio really has good products at good prices

This was a great purchase I was deciding between getting another PS3 or the VIZIO player and this was the perfect choice. The only thing that I dislike about this player is that it makes loud sounds when loading Blu Ray disc. But it has all the other features that I enjoy like downloading movies listening to music loading photos and more. Great features.

A little slow during load process, however the picture is fantastic and what really
surprised me was the 7.1 sound was incredible!!!!
My first blue ray and i'm happy. I don't need all of the streaming features so this basic unit is perfect.

always been a big fan of sony....but know more with the budget in today's world and moneys tight..I am sticking with vizio all the way have 3 flats 1 blue ray one sound bar so far..i done my homework for two years and vizio is number 1 with my family they need to send me tee shirts with there logo on it so i can give them free advertisement that's how much i enjoy there product.

I purchased the VBR 100 @ Wal-Mart. The first unit out of a 1000 to be defective I got. It would shut down/freeze and you had to unplug it for 5 minutes to get it back again.

I returned it and exchanged it for another one because absolutely no one I could find had anything bad to say about this product (which is rare for this day and age).

This turned out to be the best thing I did. I normally don't give second chances but this replacement machine seems to be working great. It sounds like me in the morning when its starting up but aside from that as the title states "So far so good".

Now the ultimate test is to see how long this device continues to work and what movies it will or won't play.

This machine has been great after I found out at that I had to hook it up to the compotent part of the Tv I have. Have a three year old tv which uses 1080i. It runs much faster this way and I can't tell a different in the picture. Tried Out Harry Potter. Didn't know what I was missing till I saw this movie. after using this blue ray player I may just buy a Vizio Tv when the time comes.

After buying and returning 3 previous Blu-ray players over the past week, Sony and Samsung, I found my Visio VBR-100 by accident while returning the Samsung. Very Happy I checked. Great Picture and Sound using HDMI to TV and CoAxial (only digital connection) to Theater Sound system. Sony's HDMI control did not work with my TV and Samsung only had optical audio which my Phillips Theater sound did not have. Very Happy with my Visio purchase. Should've started with Visio.

I bought the 1080P VIZIO 32" TV last year and just bought the 1080P VIZIO Blu-Ray VBR100 and I'm loving them. Great great picture quality and ease of controls. The price was right at Wal-Mart so I just couldn't pass the player up. So glad I did. Watched my first Blu-Ray movies last weekend and was blown away. Very good value for the money.

I purchased this today and it goes wonderfully well with the Vizio 37 inch LCD (VO370M) I bought late last year. I am very impressed and I hope to see more quality products like this in the future from Vizio.

No issues really. I am new to Blu-Ray and I was not expecting the load time to be much, but my first disk took a little bit to load. Hasn't taken that long after playing another. I am running an HDMI connection between the TV and the player so that may have an effect too. Overall impressed!!!

I had previously purchased a LG blu-ray player a year ago & i was not happy with it. It was so slow loading,wasnt hard to hookup,but the picture wasnt that great. I pay over 400 dollars for it ,then I was in Walmart & seen that they had a Vizio blu-ray player & it was only 178 dollas so I puchashed it ,got it home hooked it up & was so amazed how fast it loaded & how great the picture is. 5 stars id recommed this product to everyone, way to go Vizio.......

I bought a Vizio 32" HDTV a year ago, and this year my lovely wife surprised me a with Vizio Blue-Ray, and I love it, its agreat match. For the value you cant go wrong, less then 150$, it does a great job, I recomond this player if you have Vizio or not TV. I hope to get the sound bar next year or for my birthday to complete my Vizio set. Great deal/great looks and great picture.

I just got the VBR100 to use with my Vizio 42" LCD that I bought a few months ago. Got great prices on both items from Dell by the way. The TV is just phenominal and the BluRay player is amazing. Whatta picture. True HD quality. A real upgrade from DVD. I'll get used to the slower controls of the BluRay in time, but the picture is first rate. I have become a true Vizio believer. Looking forward to watching some new movies during the holidays.
You just can't do better for the quality at Vizio prices. Try it, become a believer too...

I purchased the VBR100 to hook up to my Vizio Plasma TV I purchased a few years ago. WOW what a difference from DVD's to BluRay!! I installed the firmware update and have never had any issues. It plays DVD's with better clarity than before and WOW BluRay so life like!! you see details you could never see before, you can see pores in hands and faces single hairs, that you never even saw in the theater's ! I would recommend this product to everyone more punch for the price.I am a Vizio customer for life now .

I am new to Visio and Blu Ray. I got a nice packege deal from Dell on a 55" 1080P 120Mhz, sound bar and a Visio Bluray. O like the picture quality but I an not sure about it still. It (Blu Ray player) take a while for it to load, and it make a lot of noise. May be its just me and my live with just DVD players. But other than that, it is clean and an amazing picture.

I bought two weeks ago a Vizio 55 inch lcd 1080p 120mz 4 hdmi outputs. I love it and I have been looking at lcd tvs for over a year. Got the best deal at Costco. Hooked it up beautiful. My dvd player went in the mean time. I was in Walmart and saw they had the Vizio Blu Ray on sale for 148. I thought great deal and it is HD, 1080, all the outputs and plays everything. How could I go wrong? I got to the the cashier and she took another 20 dollars off!! As soon as I got home I hooked it up! Amazing! I lvoe the sleek design and the vizio logo in front. The picture was amazing and I didn't even connect it with a HDMI cable yet! Why would anyone buy anything other then a Vzio???

BluRay plays Roxio Toast HD DVDs Review by Charlie

I shoot and edit my travels in HDV format. I bought Roxio Toast software to burn my edited high definition video clips to regular DVD+Rs in H.264 format. Some BluRay players will play this format and some will not. My Vizio player handles this sometimes problematic format flawlessly. Needless to say, regular BluRay movies look fantastic, as well.

Have to say ever since I bought my 32in. Vizio TV. Been hooked myself. I love Vizio so much. When I saw the Vizio Blu Ray. I had to buy it there on the spot. I'm a movie fanatic. LOVE movies. Movies are so much better now. Very Easy to set up. Now Vizio just have to come out w/ a surround sound set up. So I can place speakers around my room and watch movies with style. :D Way to go Vizio.

I recently started researching blu ray players just a few weeks ago. I thought they only played blu discs, until I checked them out. I have a 32" Sharp Aquos television, (incredible television by the way, I highly recommend it), and I was set on getting a Sharp Aquos blu ray player, until I started reading reviews of some kinks about it. It needed a firmware upgrade, so I discovered the Vizio player and thought I would check it out. Wal-Mart has yet to feature it on their website so I went to other places and read reviews. After just an hour, I was sold on it. So I checked it out at the Wal-Mart, it was $188 at the time. I went the next week to buy, and it had already dropped to $178. I got it, took it home, hooked it up, and already enjoyed the sharp crisp wallpaper of the player on the tv. I put a dvd in first, and it looked even better than a standard dvd player. I popped in disc 1 of Smallville on blu ray, and saw an absolutely incredible hd picture. Very impressed. Plus by far the design on the front of the player is clean and attractive, and the touch screen buttons on the front work flawlessly. I like watching them appear and disappear when I turn it on and off.
I recommend this player as your next electronics purchase, excellent value, plays many types of discs with no problem at all. And the touch screen buttons only need a little pressure to operate. Just right. 5 stars.

I have a Vizio 42" TV, and wanted a Blue-Ray DVD to go with it. I didn't even know Vizio sold a Blue-Ray until I saw one in Wal-Mart about an hour after leaving Best Buy and intending to return there to buy a Sony Blue-Ray player. I compared the specs, the Vizio was hands down a better value. Had all the relevant features at a greta price. I returned to Wal-Mart and made the purchase. Awesome! The unit is simple to set up, and connect to the TV. The Upconvert is incredible, like being in the theater. We put our wedding CD into the player and were astounded at the clarity and detail. The picture slide show was really cool feature. We rented a Blue-Ray disc to test it last night. Simply incredible. The picture is crystal clear, the unit is sleek. I like the touch controls. Very nice unit and an incredible value!!! Even the package, nice handle, great idea. You guys hit a home run on this one!
