I have owned this tv for approximately a month now (purchased at walmart.com free site to store delivery). It is an excellent buy. The 3D is exceptionally good and you dont have to purchase expensive 3D glasses to view 3D movies, although, you will need a bluray 3D player and some very good 3D movies. It came with 4 pair of 3D glasses, plus i have a pair from a local movie theater that work just fine. The initial setup is easy. had no problem connecting to my wi-fi internet. It also has a standard Ethernet port for direct connect internet access. This unit produces an awesome picture that is extreemely clear and sharp. The audio is good, however, there are times that it seems that the audio is being compressed, so that the volume fades a little at times. But this is very minor. I am very pleased with this tv and would highly recommend it. Oh, yeah, it has severl available apps pre-installed (youtube, amazon.com, etc, plus you can add or delete as you desire). I bought it for the 3D features, and I am not dissapointed.

I have had this TV for about 6 months now; also have 3D's from Samsung (C9000. E6070), LG (PZ550), Panasonic (TC-PGT24) and another Vizio (42 inch M3D series). Visually very little loss compared to active 3D (which may be minimally superior). No question that this TV is the best value (the LG plasma probably second)-can it rival the newer Pnny plasma ST60...no, but it's awfully good in its own right. Were it available in a 70 or 75 inch I'd be at Costco tomorrow (hey, the additinal year warranty is very worthwhile!) Go with Cnet calibrations and you'll be very happy!

Got the tv and plugged it in and started watching shows. Every thing seems to work fine with great picture quality. I installed a vizio sound bar to get better audio. The mute button does not work with the sound button. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

After many months of research and looking purchased this unit at Costco with manufacturers discount and could not beat the price! The quality is exceptional, and the setup is very very simple. Contacted tech support with a question, and it was answered to my satisfaction in a minute. Enjoyed a movie that afternoon! Highly recommend.

bought this tv at by local bjs for a great price, $840.00. you cannot beat this price when comparing it's picture quality, vivid clarity, great sound, etc, etc to any other 3d tv in this price range. this is my first 3d tv and i am loving it. thank you VIZIO!

Love the TV a lot :) It's the best one we have so far. I would highly recommend it!
One downfall for us: We have a Vizio soundbar/sub woofer and we are so use to hooking the red/white cable to the audio out jacks on every TV set from Vizio, but they changed it now. We have to go out and get an Optical cable now. There are no audio out jacks anymore :(

We purchased this TV from Costco and could not be happier. Excellent picture, incredible 3D, and mostly easy menus. The speakers aren't awesome-- sounded blown out when playing low notes in a 3d movie. But most people are going to connect a sound bar anyway-- we use HDMI to run it through our Home Theater. Customer support helped me set that up-- it was all about the CEC menu. Customer support answered quickly and was friendly and committed to helping solve my issue. A great purchase!

This TV performs better than spec's stated. Replaced a heavy 50" Vizio plasma which was super and was concerned about picture quality and daylight viewing. This TV's picture is just as great as the plasma. We also have the Vizio BluRay player which has played all the music CD's as well as all our older DVD's we have tossed at it. Yes, it also plays the newer DVD's.
Special NOTE: The best part of Vizio is the "SERVICE". It's just leagues above all others. We have been a customer for over 6 years and the support just gets better. I do not know how they keep the service people so motivated and knowledgeable.(Posted on 12/29/12)

I own the 47 inc 3d 120 and the 240 hrtz and I must say the best tv investment I could have made the picture quality is spectacularon blue ray DVD and regular broadcast and the price way ta go Visio only 1 wish and that's 2d to 3d conversion please Visio make this happen

- Awesome 3D and 2D picture. Works great with BlackOps 2 in 3D.
- Remote is bulky, sliding keyboard feels flimsy. QWERTY keyboard is difficult to use since keys are small and all number require using the shift key. Not enough room to press shfit key and the "1" key, even with small fingers.
- Setup is easy.
- VIZIO uses cut-rate/unprofessional shipping services. 1st tv arrived broken. Vizio does not reimburse shipping costs for returns (even due to it being broken) and also added a %10 restocking fee. NEVER buy from vizio online. Buy from Walmart (or target) so you can return free of charge if necessary.
- Remote can control multiple devices, setup is easy, however, there are no directions on how to use it as a universal remote when you have multiple devices connected (audio and visual).
-Extremely thin and light.

We have owned two VIZIO 26" screens for about 3 years. One is in the bedroom. One is in the home office. Now the 10-year-old, 32", Panasonic CRT in the family room / home theater finally gave up the ghost and needed replacement. We went to the local warehouse club retailer to replace it with a 47" VIZIO 3-D that I had researched and found to be a 'best buy' at that price point. The retailer had the 47" and the 55" VIZIO side-by-side running the same Blu-Ray input. Both pictures looked great! Suddenly, my wife decides that the 47" will look too small in the family room and states we should 'go-for' the 55-inch. After some financial discussion, we walked out with 55" 3D Series E. When we got it setup at home, we both expected Blu-Ray pictures to look great. Yes the 3D is also fantastic. What surprised us most was the improved picture quality of off-air broadcast TV, our regular DVDs, and the built-in NetFlix videos. OMG, what clarity and depth of contrast. The video performance is fantastic on all 'canned' settings but especially amazing on the MOVIE setting. Bravo to VIZIO !!!

This is my second VIZIO tv and love them both. I bought the 3D TV for the kids but have to say I think I like it better than them actually. Have had the tv about a month now and nothing but great things to say about it. Can not go wrong with Vizio.

I've had a Vizio for over 3 yrs and it was the best buy I ever made when it came to owning a tv. But now its time for an upgrade so I need another bigger smarter 3D tv and of course checking on your Vizio website I found a t.v that matches everything I could possibly want in a t.v. Thanks Vizio 8)
