Product Review (submitted on December 27, 2011):

We have had this television for about a year and a half. It has a great selection of inputs and even allows you to stream data to a USB thumb drive or hard drive to pause live television without the use of a PVR (kind of works like a PVR). If you want to wall mount it, the curved base stand comes off but the base pivot mount is permanently fastened to the television. It does not look bad being mounted so you do not have to worry.

The picture is great quality. Sometimes you have to play with the screen settings to fill the screen with the image depending on the format of the source material you are watching.

The sound is tinny out of the box but you can adjust it with the built-in EQ to make it useable.

The one problem (and only problem that I have come across) is the on-screen pop-up menu display that pops-up when you place your hand near the built-in proximity sensor. Apparently this thing can sense you 15 feet away as it continuously pops-up over top the program you are watching. Very annoying. One other person said this only happens when you use the HDMI input. With component input, the pop-up menu stays off until you wave your hand in front of the television.

Lots of settings to tweak the picture. Great TV for the bedroom or kitchen. Just don't use an HDMI source, only component or less.
