Product Review (submitted on April 17, 2011):

I have had this 42" HDTV for 3 years. I'll tell ya, for what this TV retails for you are getting a good deal. Great picture when properly set up. I never had anything burn-in permantly. I have accidentally left my PS3 on pause for a few hours while I wasn't around and I had a slight burnt in image from the pause screen, ran the image cleaner for the recommended 1 hour run time and it was gone. I was shopping for a new flat panel HDTV about a year or so after they were becoming popular. I bought this TV from a local retailer for just under $1000. I have bought stereo equipment from this store before and the salesman threw in some extras as well. I got the TV plus a wall mount kit and three 4' HDMI cables. Compared to other similar models I believe that the price I paid was very reasonable. I believe the thing that stood out the most about the Vizio was the # of inputs supported. HDMI x3, Component, Composite, S-video, and VGA. I am an avid online gamer and watch ALOT of sports so I wanted a quality TV that I could afford without having to refinance the home lol JK. I would have to say the only things that VIZIO could have included in the model to make it even better - PIP. Which happens to be a big deal for me come sports time, I like watching 2 or more games at a time. The TV also does produce a quite a bit of heat when it has been running for awhile. And the fact that I had to go buy an optical digital audio cable so my surround sound system worked properly (didn't work with the analog connectors i.e red and white cables) If you have a budget to stick to and want a quality TV I would recommend the VIZIO to anyone wanting to get the full HD experience.
