I don't usually review products but I wanted to say that this tv is fabulous. We own a 32 inch vizio plasma which has always been a great tv. Getting this tv home exceeded our expectations. The 3D picture is incredible and both in 2d and 3D picture quality are amazing. The picture is sharp and clear. The sound is incredible.

The only complaint I have is more concerned with my internet connection. Where I live, the choices are limited to dial up or satellite. We have satellite, but our package (the basic one) is too slow to play video on the TV most of the time. I can normally play video on my laptop, but for some reason the connection seems slower on the TV. The picture is great, the 3-D is really neat, and I just really like it. I believe you can actually watch any 3-D videos, streaming or otherwise, you just have to choose the 3-D setting in the menu.

I was amazed at the quality of the 3D performance! My friends were shock when they watch a couple of programs in the 3D. I recommend checking out these movies on your set! Legends of Flight and Under the Sea 3D, I’ am sure you will enjoy them! Best of all the price was right for me, beat all those others by far!

- A Simple Fix to Remote Not working Review by BBStacker
I wrote a review on this TV about a month after I received it. I still love it. The 3D aspect of the TV still works wonderfully but we find that it's just easier to watch 2D TV. For those wondering, you can keep your glasses from 3D movies at the theater and bring them home to watch 3D on this TV. Also, we're starting to find that when we use the wireless feature to watch movies (Netflix, Vudu, Amazon, etc.), the connection will get interrupted or "slow down". We just tolerate it but when it gets bad enough, we will switch over to the XBox and be able to finish watching the show without issue. We believe it has something to do with wireless interference in the apartment building we live in as it will sometimes interferes with the XBox as well and we have to find a different show to watch on cable instead.
Earlier I had a problem with my remote. I wrote a second review but for whatever reason it didn't make it up on this board yet. If it ever goes up, I did contact Vizio Customer Support through their chat (talked to Joelle) and got my problem fixed within five minutes after following the directions exactly as instructed. The problem I experienced was my remote not controlling the TV at all in spite of having fresh batteries. Here's the copy of the instructions that were given to me:
1- Power off TV
2- Unplug TV from outlet
3- Press and hold in the power button on the TV for 30 seconds (while it is unplugged from the wall)
4- Release the power button
5- Plug in the TV in
6- Power on the TV
Un pair Remote :
1. Press the "Q" "P" and "SPACE" button on remote at the same time for 5 seconds.
2. Take out both batteries.
3. Press all the buttons on the remote, one at a time (including the keyboard).
4. Put batteries back in.
5. Test the remote
Re Pair remote :
1. Press the Green Button and RED Record button for 10 seconds.
2. It should now be paired.
3. Test out the remote
Everything's great and still enjoying my Vizio. I see Vizio while shopping frequently and a smile just comes to my face because I'm glad I have one.
A side note about the Customer Service Chat: During the chat, I received these message 15 times:
- "Communication with the RightNow Chat service has been lost. Please wait while attempts are made to restore the connection."
"Disconnection in 600 seconds."
This didn't interrupt the communication in the sense that I lost my Tech Support Representative but it did interrupt my ability to type what I wanted to say and cause me to wonder (the first time it happened) if the person on the other end was still with me or if I would have to start the chat process all over again. This didn't happen and Joelle stayed with me the entire time. Really, the whole interaction felt like it took only five minutes. The longest part of being in contact was following the instructions step by step exactly as given to me. Hope this helps with future decision making processes.

This TV has all of the latest features, Internet apps, Super high Contrast ratio (5 million：1) for excellent picture, 240 Hz refresh rate for crisp clear blur free viewing of sports, movies, games etc, 3D capable for watching 3D movies and playing 3D games, Blue tooth technology for adding wireless headphones and slide out QWERTY keyboard for interacting with the wide variety of Internet apps and adding more all the time. The sound is also good and has equalizer, Bass, treble and surround sound controls for adjusting just the way you want to hear. This is my first VIZIO tv and im more than satisfied with it and id recommend this set to anyone who wants a superb TV with a host of features for a fantastic price!

I bought this TV on Black Friday at Sam's Club.
I too have a humming noise coming from the back of tv (you can hear it when tv is muted or volume is down). It's slightly annoying and I wonder if this is a defect or if they all do it.
Does anyone have a professional calibration done and share the settings with the rest of us?

This is my second Vizio. I love it. I had a 26" for three years, and that one is still great, but too small now.
The TV is amazing in every way imaginable, so no need to say what everyone else is saying.
The one problem with the experience is the remote, and it is a huge problem. I would like a new remote, Vizio, since mine has faults. A couple of the QWERTY keys don't function, and I have to really press hard to get them to work. The buttons overall feel unresponsive, especially the QWERTYs. The slide out feature feels klunky, and it's very hard to reach the top row of keys, and I don't have fat fingers.
The whole remote is huge, almost 3" thick, which is just ridiculous in the age of touchscreens. It looks like a cell phone from the 80s. Not good.
Please revise the design by looking at SONYs cool keypad. I don't like Sony, but the keypad sets the bar, so at least match it. In the meantime, give me an iPhone 4 app which I may use to control the TV. I know it's easily doable, and I would even pay for it.
Again, the TV is awesome, but the remote is awful. Still worth buying the TV.

I have had a 32 inch vizio for about 4 years now, it was refurbed and has never had a problem since ive had it. Been interested in 3d tv for a while but of course the prices were too high, but under 600 for what lists over 900. Couldnt pass it up for an early Christmas present to myself. The quality and picture of the tv is amazing. Bluray play and 3d avchds and blurays look amazing. Great depth. Great Clarity, brightness, and contrast. Only issue I had for a couple of days was getting my Xbox 360/PC to work in 3D. The option for 3D would not even present itself. Its grayed out, yet the tv tuner as a source lets you switch to 3d even when the source video is in 480i 2d. Well I spoke with online chat support but that didn't help much at all. The rep just said the source video feed had to be in 3D for the tv to allow 3D mode. But it doesn't...But after trial and error and lots and lots of online searching I discovered that the issue is, for whatever reason the tv will not accept 3d from the 360 in 1080p mode. Even using hdmi 1.4 cables. But once you change it to 1080i or 720p (on the xbox) it works fine. Also on the PC your graphics card has to have HD output set up, apparently just having HD resolution doesn't work (setting to)1920 x 1080, it has to be in set to HD 1080p mode. (just make sure in the right corner of the screen when you hit info on the remote it says 1080i HD or 1080p HD not 1920 x 1080 (for Pc's) Now regardless of whats playing, the tv allows selection of HD. With this figured out, I couldn't be more happy with the purchase. EXCELLENT TV.
