- Great TV Review by Jerr
-
Screen image looks great. A good TV for the price. Bought from Newegg.com.
The only bad thing is the VR10 remote control, but it was easy to buy the Vizio XR110 remote control from Walmart for $9.88 + tax, this is the same remote that came with my 48" Vizio LED / LCD, this remote can be programed to control 3 devices. Now it even has a great remote controll.
I see a lot of people complain that the screen tilts back a little on the stand, this is not a problem for me. I have this TV in my dinning room / kitchen, the center of the screen is at eye level while setting at the table and the image is perfect. The people complaining about the tilt back on the stand must be putting the TV up at the top of the wall at the ceiling. Others complain about the view from the side not being as good as right in front of the screen. Do your home work and you will find that all LED / LCD TV's are this way. The Plasma TV is the only TV that gives a wide viewing angle.
I have the Vizio 50" Plasma TV and 2 of the Vizio 26" LED / LCD TV's an E260MV and an M260MV and 1 Vizio 48" LED / LCD. The 50" Plasma TV is in the family room, 1 Vizio 26" in the dinning room and the other 2 LED / LCD TV's are in the bed rooms.
I love the Vizio TV's and have never had any problems.
Some people complain about the USB port - not able to make their USB speakers work on the USB port. The USB port is for viewing jpg images fron a USB storage device, it is not going to work speakers or a mouse or anything but a USB storage device to view jpg type images. Please read the manual that came with your TV, it says - USB port for jpg viewing ONLY.
I wonder how someone is using a memory stick to record TV - must be talking about the USB port that ONLY VIEWS jpg images.
It's sad to see complaints about the TV not doing something it was not designed to do.(Posted on 9/22/12)
- Absolutely Amazing! Review by Frankie

This TV is so incredible to say the least. I didn't like the fact that it was always tilting upwards on the stand so i got a wall mount installed immediately and i was in love. It was a great upgrade from a 19" Sharp. The picture is phenomenal and the sound quality is very good. My Playstation 3 looks fantastic while playing on this tv and i can view photos on a usb. Best TV you can find at a great price.

- Very Good Review by James

Bought this unit at Walmart to replace the original flat screen in the RV that took a static electricity hit in Arizona. It is a perfect unit for the RV. Had to modify the wall mount in the RV to mount this unit. Like many others I believe the sound could be better but I just run the TV sound through the surround sound system and we are all set.

- Love it ! Review by hereyago

Bought at Wal-Mart.
Easy to carry suitcase type box.
Super easy to hook up and run thru initial set-up.
Like the standard picture quality settings.
Needs improvements to the sound especially the bass.
It needs a tilt mount. Can be tilted at downward angle if hung on wall.
I used a book under the back of stand to angle down from dresser.
What up with the small remote? Could use an upgrade here.
Thankfully my other 2 Vizio remotes work this tv.
Very nice product. Love this tv. Just the right size for a small bedroom.(Posted on 12/10/11)
- Great price Review by Chantyr

I bought this as a computer monitor which it works great as. sure can pack a lot onto the screen. Also it has the digital tuner so I can use it for TV in my office as well. One thing I wish it would do is shut down the or display and back lighting when i goes idle, instead it shows a bright blue screen. I hope they do a firmware fix. Sounds like most of the issues except of the bass issue can be fixed with firmware, kind of like the people testing the code for this don't use them like most of us do. I'm glad it doesn't have the buzz issue like the Vizio 42's

- Great Picture but..... Review by K-man

This picture looks great but the sound needs to improve. This tv lacks bass and it also needs a tilt on the stand. The tv might work better if it was on a wall mount with an adjustable tilt.

- Surprising Review by Mike

I bought it off a truck in the parking lot. The price was right. Didn't really have time to look at all the features right then. When I hooked it up, I was surprised at how lite it is. The picture is great and the sound is good. I only need it at around 10.
The other features are great and I am sure I will use them soon. This would be good at twice the price.(Posted on 9/29/11)
- Nice item Review by Jim

My wife bought it at Walmart to replace the old CRT tv in a bedroom. It was easy to set up and I am impressed with the picture quality, and available options. It even performs great with an older DVD player and my older VHS player. (I have too many classic tapes to get rid of it) I am off to a great start with this great machine. The sound however is one step above a tin can on a string. I will get a speaker for it. I hang on to things and I hope that I can get good service from this for a long time to come.

I bought this TV, primarily to use as a second monitor for my Macbook Pro. It looks great! True 1080p is worth it-make that necessary-to use with Mac OSX.
Whilst not possessing "full-array" LED construction, There is a clear difference between this and ordinary LCD tv's...in brightness, color, clarity, etc. (You'll especially notice when you aren't using HDMI cables, and 1080p sources.)
Sound? Well, what do you expect out of two 5 Watt speakers? (As an audio engineer, I just hooked this us to studio monitors and my problem was solved ;-)
It is very sleek and sharp looking - and well packaged.
For the price, you will have to search hard to beat this tv. Don't get some off-brand like Westinghouse or whatever from China. Go with this.
(On a side note, I still can't get over HOW MUCH BETTER LED/LCD tv's are, over the old cathode-tube tv's. That ANNOYING high, shrill frequency that people 30 years and younger can hear? gone!)(Posted on 8/7/11)
