I purchased this tv as a second tv for me. I have to say this tv is great. Picture and sound quality is outstanding. I was told though tech support not good but I hope I never need to use it. I recommend this tv

This is a great TV, good picture quality, good sound and great price. However, adding a USB port that only recognizes picture files was a total waste of time. Other than that the TV is wonderful.

I've had my TV for almost a year now, and I couldn't be happier. I specifically chose this model so I could connect it to my PC and eliminate the need for a separate computer monitor. The multiple HDMI inputs, as well as basic A/V imputs, also allow me to connect my DVD player, multimedia player, and a VCR, with room to add more devices if I want. As an added bonus, I can even name the inputs (and I have) so I don't have to remember what's plugged in where.
With the versatile picture settings, I can set it so it won't keep me awake at night, but so I can still see it when I am awake; and I can set it bright enough to be able to see it clearly even in broad daylight. If I ever decide to, I can hook up the TV to play through my home stereo, but the sound from the TV's built-in speakers is so good, I'll probably never get around to it.
My Mom liked mine so much, she bought one of her own. While she does actually watch TV and videos on it, her favorite feature is using it to view the photos from her digital camera.(Posted on 7/18/11)

I have been 100% satisfied with my new Vizio E421VA LCD HDTV. It has awesome sound and many audio setting selections allowing the user to set it to his or her choice. Some love surround sound, some don’t, and this HDTV gives you those options and more. The picture quality is far exceeded my expectation. It feels like you are “in” the movie, and I love that. I so highly recommend and love this product that I went out and purchased a one for my Mother. Let’s just say; “mama is happy”.
