My blu-ray is out of warranty and none of the buttons will work. The movies would be stuck on the main menu but, before it would get there they'd work. So, after a few dialoges over the phone and internet my blu-ray was almost sh#$-canned, until I had a brain-fart and decided to buy a remote. Wwwwaaalllllaaaaa...it works, the XRU100 solved the problem of my blu-ray not playing any movies, at all. Soooo, happy. And now the buttons work, too, go figure. I would've bought another one and now I don't have to.

Nice and SIMPLE Remote!! Use it for the Kitchen 26" Vizio LCD HDTV. I didn't have to program it at all but then a child got ahold of it without my knowledge and somehow managed to "unprogram" it to work with myTV,but I was able to look up the codes here online and reprogrammed it on my first try easily!! I highly recommend it for a simple TV Remote!! Price is reasonable and the price online here is the same as at Wallyworld.

This remote is great - if your needs are simple. Vizio has another universal remote if you need a little more capability. The XRU9M is able to operate four devices.

The list price is $29.99, but I got mine at Wal*Mart for about half that. Both remotes are a breeze to set up. I especially like that they hold the codes for up to 10 minutes while you change the batteries.
