- Best bang for the buck Review by sunriseracer

Great picture, very good sound separation. I picked this model because it has 10W speakers, low power consumption, headphone output, has all the connections you might need and it's not internet ready - (I prefer to use a separate Roku box). Setup was pretty straightforward. I use it in the bedroom on my computer desk. I agree with the other reviews: the remote is totally unimpressive. You have to press the buttons firmly to operate and point it directly straight to the tv. In my case it's not much of an issue because I'm using the remote from my cable co. and HD converter. If you don't have cable, it's a good idea to get an aftermarket remote ( I highly recommend the 'learning remote' over the universal type). It will handle all of the factory's remote functions. For an even better picture, there are DVD discs available to fine tune the image. It helps a lot to position the screen away from light reflected from a window. I have an old Bose 2.1 sound system connected I use as a mini home theater when watching movies. The lighted touch sensitive controls in front of the bezel are pretty cool. The VIZIO logo lights up and can be a little annoying but you can cut a piece of black construction paper to size and neatly cover the logo. Don't forget to use a good surge protector. I use a line conditioning battery type UPS. Other than that, I highly recommend the tv and give it 5 stars.

- Great TV, but problem with remote Review by susan
-
Received the TV as a gift, and I love the picture and everything else about the TV, but am having problems with the remote. All of the controls are very difficult to push. I have to squeeze down several times to try to put in number, channel changes, etc. It is frustrating. Anyone else having this problem?

Got this tv for my bedroom. I looked at all reviews of sets this size and decided to go with Visio. It was a good decision. Easy setup, great picture, and the sound is amazing. I was surprised that I only had the volume on 2 and the sound was rich, no distortion and loud enough to hear dialogue clearly. Plus this tv sits nicely on my shelf. Im very pleased.

This TV is quite remarkable. The picture is astounding and the sound is good enough for a small space. The only thing I would change is the addition of a "favorites" button that can be programmed with your favorite channels. It would make it much more enjoyable to use.
