Purchased this item NEW... It has an excellent sound system and the picture is superb and clear as a bell. When set up properly there should be no problems... I had to reset the sound to combat the Tinnitus I have in both ears. Once I lowered the Treble and raised the Bass a little l found my comfort zone and it definitely does not have a tiny sound ... Another good feature is the sound level, it eliminates overly loud commercials and the different sound levels of different stations. I would recommend this TV to any one..

I've seen some complaints on this tv saying stuff about the sounds are tiny, the tv breaks too quick, and the picture isn't good. Let me tell you, I've had this since April (2011) and I haven't experienced one bad thing with this tv yet. I bought it primarily for xbox and I use this tv a lot. Hours and hours almost everyday. I also bring it with me a lot everywhere and nothing wrong has happened. The sound is definitely nowhere near tiny, the sound is amazingly crisp and perfect. The picture is beautiful, and the 1080p setting looks gorgeous while playing xbox. The included remote also looks stunning. A sleek, smooth white color, on both the tv and the remote. 5/5 definitely, I think this tv will last me a while and I highly recommend it.
