Excellent picture. We watched a Blue Ray movie last night and we were blown away.
The resolution is so good that it will take some time for our eyes to get used to watching our favorite tv shows.
Set up was a breeze. we connected the Blue Ray DVD and HD cable with HDMI cables. The TV found our WiFi and connected without a hitch. The sound on the speakers was not as good as our old plasma Vizio, so we purchased a Vizio sound bar and woofer. We got the one recommended in the Start-Up Guide that came with the TV. The sound was great using a analog cable. I wish Vizio provided an optical cable, but I have one on order from NewEgg for only four bucks.
The one disappointment was the remote control. The remote control that came with the TV cannot control the sound bar, which is strange because both the sound bar and the TV are Vizio products.
I recommend this television set.(Posted on 1/23/13)
