Decided to upgrade my last Vizio and headed to WalMart at midnight for some reason to look at TV's. They had a 60" of another maker next to the Vizio and the price difference was a few hundred dollars, nothing was really different but the 5" of screen size. Sound could be a little better but I purchased a sound bar for it and couldn't be happier now. Will most likely upgrade to a 70" unless they come out with a larger model within the next few months. Then I can use my 32" led for a computer screen and put the 55" in my bedroom.

Just purchased our 1st VIZIO TV. We purchased ours 3-3-13. So far, we absolutely LOVE this tv. Easy setup, great quality, great picture, and makes our tv watching so much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend the VIZIO to everyone.

Works great - got Surround Sound with it, but the TV's sound isn't bad at all. The optical out functions fine with the TV speakers on as well.

WiFi setup was painless, and the quick menu is well done and easy to use. I was also impressed with the settings menu and other TV functions. They are intuitive, well organized, and easy to find. The remote is fun to use, solidly built and well laid out.

Wall mounting was no problem - although the screw holes on the back were set a bit too deep for the screws my TV mount came with, but got some just a bit longer at the hardware store and everything thing else went well.

Being domestically made in the US, swayed me to try Visio - and I'm not at all disappointed.

I purchased this TV from Costco and I absolutely love it! The picture is remarkable and the wifi is great. The only downfall is my remote went dead within a day. I called Costco customer service which connected me with Vizio and they are sending me a new remote. Very prompt and friendly customer service at vizio.

We purchased the 55 M series smart tv right after Christmas and love it. Colors are vivid with amazing picture. Watching football on it was incredible. My only criticism is that sound quality not great so I use my surround sound system all the time. The smart tv feature is pretty neat and easy to use. I would give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 only because of sound quality.

Amazing TV. Review by Keyso

I brought this TV for the super bowl game last year 2011, I tell you this is a amazing TV. Right out the box! remote is cool, my kids love the remote. The picture quality is wonderful. Friends and family come over, I it get nothing but good complement about the picture clarity. I love this Vizio tv so much im looking to buy the 70"Vizio this year for the super bowl.

Vizio's sound bar Review by IRV

I have a M model 55" smart TV that I purchased and a smaller 32" sound bar for it. I have had a problem selecting volume and other things thro the remote. The infared receiver point on the TV is centered low on this model so it will not pickup the remote signal with the sound bar in front of the tv base. The only solution I had was to raise the TV 1-1/4 inches . I didnt have any other place to move the sound bar and they suggest to put in front of the TV base. I have not had any problems since I raise the TV , Vizio does make a longer sound Bar with a dip through the center which maybe is what I needed. Some of their TV's have the remote pickups on the ends. All in all, Iam pleased with the TV .

Simply stated - a great Smart HDTV at a reasonable cost. I do suggest you select "Vivid" in choosing Picture quality as it provides the best combination of brightmess and contrast.
