VSB200 + subwoofer FTW Review by mc045

My roommate picked this up at XSCargo and after looking at the specifications I was in awe. He bought it for $60.00 CDN and I would say it's worth about $200+

They sound amazing, they are small and sleek, the SRS effects are subtle enough to actually be used AND ENJOYED! I can't even pick a favourite setting, they all sound great.

I bought a bunch more for my college and have implemented them above and below televisions! Man do people LOVE these speakers.

I'm a huge fan of the dual input, optical in, subwoofer OUT. I wish the inputs would auto select. That would make this unit that much more desireable.

One thing. Make sure you test this sucker out, I bought refurbished units and always test them before I mount them. Another great feature, the feet are actually mounting brackets as well... AMAZING!

Love the sound bar but can't get it to work with our dish network remote. Frustrating to have to use a bunch of remotes. Suggestions??

Satisfied with my new vizio products! Review by Golfingavo

I bought the 42 in soundbar to go along with my new 42 in wifi e series LCD tv. I love it so far. Are there any particular settings I should have turned on/off under my tv audio selections? For example, I should have Dolby digital selected, surround as opposed to standard, etc etc. What about the srstru? Off or on. Anyone have a certain setup they like? Love the products though!

Heeyy I bought the Vizio sound bar model vsb202 for my Vizio 42 inch flat screen..luv em both but I was about to go krazy because the sound kept going up/down no matter what channel I was viewing..was about to call Vizio and go into my rant mode but I just happen to read the comments and found the review written by Tank. Thank you Tank you are da Man. I am now on cloud 9..again thanks to Tank. So if anyone else out there in cyber-space is having the same problem with the sound level coming from your sound bar just read these comments and find the post by Tank..do that and your problem is solved.

Purchased a 47 inch Vizio Smart 3D TV a few weeks ago and was wandering through Sam's Club the other day and saw this soundbar and decided to check it out.Boy am I happy that I did.Mounted it above the flat screen as opposed to under it and it sounds absolutely incredible.Watched Contraband on Blue Ray and also played the newest Ghost Recon and the sound was incredible.I am going to look into a universal remote to control everything.Does anyone have a recommendation on a good sub-woofer to pair with this that is affordable?

Because my living room's setup doesn't really allow the use of wired rear speakers I was using an Onkyo 5.1 home theater receiver using only the from three speakers and sub woofer. The sound I was getting from those 3 speakers alone was great. This sound bar came as a package deal when I purchased a Vizio 55" HDTV (purchased a week ago) and the HD audio/virtual surround sound I'm now getting from this sound bar keeps me looking over my shoulder at the rear channel audio. I would definately recommend this item (and I already have) to anyone.

i got the vizio VSB-200 soundbar for my birthday a couple of years ago. i hooked it up via TOSLINK Optical Digital and the sound is so clean & clear. for those people who have fluctuations in the volume with SRS TruVolume on turn the SRS TruVolume off SRS TruVolume has the opposite effect on Optical Digital and you will notice that the volume levels off more. hope to get the VSB-202 soundbar so i can play games and other stuff in Dolby Digital 5.1 via Dolby Digital setting on my vizio tv
