Unbelievable units Review by Wraiths

Top. Notch. I don't want to jinx the lOw price but this unit can easily be valued 300 more than sales value. I had one 47 in my bedroom and I had moved an old Phillips 42 plasma to my lIving room. After 6 years of service my Phillips plasma bit the dust. Just got out of Walmart and got my second 47 inch vizio. The new model is even better than my old one. Picture is amazing and Internet connectivity has gotten better. Vizio please keep the awesome price for your awesome product because I don't want to drop down to a junk brand if I ever have to upgrade again. Thanks for the last two years.

I wasn't sure about vizio unitl i brought this babe home, now i'm a believer! the picture quality on this TV is unreal! it looks as if the images are in 3D, my wife and i spent 2 hours putting in a dvd and watching a minute or two and then putting in a different one. the image just blows my mind! that was all on a 480i hookup too. when we got a blu-ray player and HD cable then it got even better!

Just to let you know,I bought the M470SV only because of what I have read in the reviews not only from here but Wall-Mart, Sams, Comp USA, Sears and a few on line forums.All of these people can't be wrong. I mean shure their is going to be a bad one in the bunch and I have found that if all else fail's read the direction's. I have only been enjoying it only a little over a month and that to me is a good break in time. So read instructions and follow directions you can't go wrong. VERY PLEASED !!!

We just picked up the TV and have it assembled and are viewing the TV. It appears to be very good quality and I am sure we will be pleased with it once we connect it to the internet. Would it be asking too much to include instructions in your manual on how to use the Qwerty Keyboard? There are 3 choices on some of the keys and I need all three to enter by wireless security code. I enter one key and when I try to enter the second one, the first one changed to an asterisk. Why in the world would you not do this simple thing? Do you really think everyone would understand how to use this?

I have had my 47" vizio razor led/lcd hdtv for over 20 months now and still love it. I up graded with a vizio sound bar with wireless subwoffer its sounds amaizing. I also had to get the vizio blue ray player that also has wireless apps. Maybe a little over kill on my part but work out in my favor. My tv sometimes doesnt pick up on my wireless conection a problem vizio support has recently addressed for me. But when my tv wasnt receiving signal the blueray player still would so i could still use apps. I bought everything at sams club at great prices. Ive looked at other brands before buying and since. None even compare to picture quality. Friends always impressed with theater like experience ,as am i even after a year and eight months.

this is the best quality flat screen I have ever owned.. the speaker system is incredible. really glad I got this.. was able to save 10 bux a month cause I was able to cancel my xbox that was my netflix connection... now its right on the tv..
the only flaw is that amazon and another app have a perminant place on the remote,, by the way the remote has a keyboard in it , how cool is that.. this tv ROCKS

i just got this tv today ive been waiting for this tv for awhile pick up at walmart but dont lisen to what every one has to say bout it cause it really is a awesome tv for what u paying for it and everything people saying but the volume is a lie it has good speakers but if u really want it to be really loud then get a vizio sound bar but this tv has a lot of options u have a whole bunch of picture option and it has a stunning picture u really can't go wrong with this tv it has four hdmi ports a rgb port a head phone jack and i havent experienced nothing with this tv i would recommend this tv to any one wants a good gaming experience or just wants a sensational picture u cant go wrong

Pros & cons Review by Dave

So I am going to Walmart tomorrow to by my Visio 47" led tv and said well let me look it up and see what info I can find about this really nice looking tv that also has a great price,, so here I am and read all the reviews and am at a fork in the road - pros sound the same and all the cons as well... The tv has some very nice features but the reviews all say the same about cons which is that the sound is weak and if that be the case then one must buy a sound bar but I only wanted to buy a tv so y must I purchase a extra item when I can buy something that dose it all that is the viewing and hearing... Well it is very sharp tv and at a reasonable price and will also pick up the extended warrenty so wish me luck.

Great Picture---Sporadic Sound Review by Tipijo

Bought this TV 2 weeks ago. Beautiful picture...easy setup. We don't have any internet access in our area yet other than dial-up so I'm bummed that I couldn't use any Apps that comes with the TV. So after a few days the sound goes off...we had to change the channel to get the sound back on. This goes on and on all day long so we returned the TV this morning to WalMart. Spent a lot of time looking at all the TV's they have to offer and ended up with a 55" Vizio. So we'll see how this goes. The picture is awesome. Hope the sound stays on. I ordered a soundbar thru this website with the discount coupon from Vizio. Stayed tuned

Outstanding & Economical Review by Tim

Went from 46" Sanyo HDTV with 2 failed panels, to this Outstanding picture, hooked it up in seconds to FIOS 60 hr HD DVR and simply Outstanding! Got it from Wal-mart & simple to hook up my netfliz acct (have to use Vizio remote to operate Netflix), FIOS remote controls all else. Went from 60 hz to 240 hz.

FIOS is a MUST.
1080P is a MUST.
240hz is a MUST.
HDMI cable is a MUST.
Under $1k
bought the extended service contract (from Walmart) just to be safe.

Amazing priceless picture & value!

HIGHLY recommend this tv.

Vizio Razer LED 47 inch TV Review by Omega

Except for the inablilty to play movies from either a USB Stick or portable drive. That and the fact that that I can't seem to get it to except streaming from my computer over the WiFi link ( Which might be something I am missing ). I have no complaints regarding this set. I had one that I got from Wal-Mart , that worked half way through a movie the went off and would not turn back on. But they replaced it the following day and the new one is exceeding all my expectations. Picture quality is excellent, Sound quality is fine I am running it through a 5.1 system.even when ou consider that I got a 2 year extended warrenty on the TV wal-mart had it priced very nicely I spent $1,141.34. I ended up saving about 200.00 and got a 47 inch instead of a 37 inch from another brand. For my money this TV is well worth the price. Vizio has gained a loyal customer.

I was originally looking for a samsung 46" un46d6000 and i came to my last store thinking I wasn't going to end up buying a tv today. I saw this tv right beside the samsung and the comparison begun. Overall I'm pretty happy with the tv so far, besides the fact that it wont play certain music files. Since I have a vizio now, I might as well go ahead and purchase the surround sound and the blu ray player.

Missing features Review by Dkosier

I was really happy with my M470SV when I first bought it. The unit I bought from Walmart had problems staying on. Walmart didn't have any more in stock and none coming to replace it with so I contacted Vizio and they replaced it.

The TV does most of what I wanted it to be able to do except play avi, divx, mkv, mp4, wma support from the USB inputs. Guess I should have came here first before I bought it as I see it doesn't have Wireless HD and that the Wireless is only Single Band. I hope they can update the video codecs part at least. If the other stuff becomes needed later I will have to wait and see.

All in all I am still happy with the TV and would have everything I want if they updated the video capabilities of the USB Media.

This TV is absolutely amazing for the price, it offers so many options to tweak your TV to your preference . A steal, if you a Sams Club, Costco, et al., go there to purchase, you will save over the other competitors.

I love this tv.I can't say enough about it.I originally had a budget of around $500.After seeing the picture on this tv and checking out the features I had to have it.

You cannot find another tv on the market with all these features at this price (-$1000).

Easy set up and simple design.Picture quality is amazing with tons of settings to tweak it to liking.Has a game mode,which I like.It also has a very nice QWERTY keyboard on back of remote,NICE!!

Don't pass this this one up!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been shopping for a while now for something to replace my older 720p TV. I simply wanted to wait until something really grabbed me with pizzaz and new features.

When I saw this one in the store I couldn;t take my eyes off of it. Vizio has received some rave reviews in the trade rags for quality and value and innovation.

This one has the internet apps. It's wireless and OMG what a nice picture. It simply makes ANYTHING your viewing better. Most movies don't even look the same to me. I feel like the director seeing it live and in front of me.

Now the hard part is I have to watch all my movies over again. . .

This is the most unblieveable TV for under $1000! Go check it out for yourself!

Ridiculous Review by Tim

First off, I looked around at a few different stores and compared the picture quality of all the 47" TVs. This one looked the best. Then I started looking at the price tags and was surprised to see that this one was much less expensive than the other TVs that looked grainy and pixelated.
Then I brought this puppy home, that's when it got real awesome. Set up was a snap, the thin profile really lent to the room, and then I got it hooked up! Ohhh man!
At first I was jazzed about the picture, it blew my last TV away. Then I realized it was in 480i because I wasn't using the HDMI.
So yeah, I was already impressed, then it got better when I streamed a movie straight to the TV using Netflix. When I saw how ridiculous that picture was, I knew I was dealing with some Top Notch HD.
If you came in and tried to steal my Vizio, I would fight you... But I would do it away from my Vizio.
