Wonderful TV; great picture quality; very easy setup with cable box, DVD player and Wii; Easy setup for the internet through our wireless router. I didn't think I needed LED, however upgrading from a 32" to 42" TV was because I was having a hard time with my vision seeing the RCA 32" LCD TV I had; so while looking at the 42" Vizio I found this LED TV and couldn't be more pleased. The picture quality is amazing! No more problems seeing the TV or the on-screen guide at all. In fact I can see every detail of every show in a way that I didn't even know was possible. This was the best purchase I've made in a VERY long time! Do not hesitate to purchase this TV. And for the person who wrote the Oct. 2011 review about the remote; they are all over ebay for about $24, or you can get the one for the Vizio 3D TV. The Netflix button on this remote makes it so convenient and fast to connect to netflix! I don't usually write reviews, but this purchase was worth writing a review!! Watching classic black & white Movies is such a treat too!! Amazing quality!

I have a big house with several TV's but my Vizio 42" M420SL has the best picture and it was easy for a 79 year old man to follow the on screen directions to set it up. I love it.

After extensive research I had to go with this tv. Being a tech geek I try and stay up on todays technology and am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. With that being said this tv is AWESOME for the price! The picture clarity will blow you away and compared to others tv's that cost hundreds more its as good or better. I love everything about this tv except the fact that there isn't a browser. However I'm sure vizio will add one in a near future update. (hint hint vizio). Don't let that steer you away from purchasing this tv though. I strongly recommend this to anyone looking for this type and size of tv!!!

Had a Sanyo but returned it for this TV. For just alittle bit more money you get 120HZ for clear motion and Led edge lighting, plus the picture quality is better. I like that it is made in the great USA(CA.) too!!

bought this Tv for Picture,Apps,and Price. wonderful setup that was simple quick and easy. hooked up seamlessly to wifi. and to Netflix and Hulu Plus, its nice not to have to have a game console. netflix and Hulu are easy to navigate with remote. the picture is truly amazing, all of my friends have 50"1080p blueray players and this Tv is like night and day to their's! makes every show so sharp, you feel asthough your standing right next to the camera when their filming! No joke! i would recommend this Tv to everyone i know and would make this purchase a thousand times over. you Will not be disapointed with this Tv.

I'm so pleased with my purchase. The apps are a great plus. Just being able to do so much without purchasing additional equipment is great. I am especially happy that I can stream both Hulu and Netflix because most other brands give 1 or the other never both. The price was reasonable, a lot cheaper than Phillips, Sony etc that have the same features. My only concern is the remote. Although my remote is working fine it worries me that it seems like there is no way of accessing the apps without it and no remote on the website to replace it if it is damaged. The remotes on the website seem like they will do everything except pull up the app menu. That being said, i'll guard my remote with my life and hope that Vizio has a comparible replacement for sale sometime soon.

Very easy to setup, receives terrestrial signals (33) in outskirts of Boston area no problem! eliminating Directv and going to internet TV...would like to see a browser in this TV though. Also, should be able to customize the "APPS" ...i don't use Facebook nor Twitter and I would replace them with a BROWSER (Yahoo or Google) and another APP from a menu... again....TV is awesome but flexibility is not where it should be...

I GOT THE 42:" LED RAZOR TV, I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS TV, THE SET UP WAS EASY, THE PRICE WAS SO REASONABLE BUT THE VALUE IS BEYOND WORDS, I ALSO PURCHASED A VIZIO 3D BLU RAY PLAYER, I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYTHING VIZIO TO ANYONE , I AM SO PLEASED WITH THE FUNCTIONALITY, PICTURE, IT IS CLEARLY 2 OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE PURCHASED THIS YEAR

Bar none; bang for the buck one of the best buys for an LED TV of its caliber.
From the easy setup; to the quality of picture and fluid fast motion refresh rate capture with the 1080p HD 120Hz.
This product gives you what you pay for from the time you turn it on, till the time its turned off.
The WIFI Internet, Movie setups all done with ease and the keyboard on the back of the remote is a plus.

We bought this TV last week. It was easy to set up. The picture is perfect, crystal clear on HD channels. The sound is good. The wireless connection and internet apps are fantastic and the remote with the keyboard is a plus. We love it, it is a great buy and has features of a much more expensive model.
