I generally do not write reviews but I had to for this television. Any complaint you hear about this TV...ignore them! This TV is great. 3d is super, watched resident evil with xbox the kids last night and it was better than the theater. The picture clarity was beautiful. It love the remote. The apps work great. People say they are slow but I have had no such issues. Those who play xbox will fall in love. Keep this on mind xbox owners in order to work the 3d the xbox must be set to 1080i or 720p. The television will not detect the 3d with the xbox set at 1080p. It's not a malfunction or a problem. There is no significant drop off in resolution and it looks great. I run the xbox on 1080i when I game with this TV because the refresh rate is more noticeable and u have more picture options since the television does not take over the pic controls on 1080i. Overall buying this television was a great purchase.

My Sony Wega expired a coulpe weeks ago, so when it came time to browse for my new television I searched for the lastest in tv tech. LED-LCD was the response I was always given from sales reps and friends. After having been witness to (and/or previously owned) Sony SXRD, Sony LCD, Samsung DLP and Samsung Plasma televisions I agree that LED-LCD offers the best PQ I've ever seen. The only concern is cost. That's part of what made this product appealing. Even though Vizio's product is at the bottom of the price spectrum, don't confuse low-cost with low-quality, this television is quite excellent. The initial startup setup is quick and easy. The wireless connectivity works very well as I've been able to use Netflix instant streaming with no complications and far stronger ping connection than streaming via an Xbox360. There are about forty various other widgets available: Pandora, Rapsody, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo! Fantasy Football, etc. So if you love to be connected this television will be right up your alley. I am more than satisfied with this purchase. I highly recommend this product.

Great TV for a great price. I bohugt it at Sam's Club for $598. I bohugt it to watch movies and TV shows in my garden as it requires no cable connections to stream TV programs and movies. I also use it as a computer screen with my Mac. USB outlets don't work yet but according to some reviews they will be operational by the end of this year with a firmware update. I like everything about this TV. It's the best one I've ever owned. Netflix, Vudu, Amazon VOD work without a glitch. It has a bluetooth connection for a remote and headsets. I don't understand the other reviewer who couldn't watch Netflix on it. It works great with this TV but you need a subscription to Netflix to be able to use it. Vudu movies stream in various resolution and you pay per movie. Again, you need to sign up online with your credit card to be able to use it.

First and foremost never get to caught up in the great value of a tv that you forget to look around for in-store pricing and web clearance days. I spent a day looking for the best prince on an already great deal from Vizio and i found that walmart and Sams club sold it for 300 dollars less, but most store were out of stock due to high demand. But I digress, If u want amazing processing speeds 3d from almost every angle and high quality imaging invest in this machine. I was instantly grounded after mounting and popping in a 3D movie on how well the regular real D glasses work. There was no doubt in my mind that as long as I maintain this television ill saving hundreds compared to those using the expensive chargeable glasses. Its thin design also work well with mounting and spacing even in a mid sized apartment. The default remote seems clunky as well without lights for use during a night time show making using V.I.As hard without straining your eyes but during the day a very vast response time in the twitter and facebook feed as well as netflix streaming. The start up guide explains alot and takes your through easy steps that even the smallest of children (with the ability to read) could set up the tv. The only major problem i saw other than the remote and shipping price, was when using an old HDMI cable it tends to take 2-8 seconds when switching between SD and HD with a black blank screen giving off the impression that for a quick second your television turned off. Wrapping up, defiantly invest in yet another great vizio product just remember shop around until you find a reasonable price

I've only had.this TV a few days...I own 2 LCD TVs 1 plasma and now this led TV and it is definitely my favorite quick...my plasma had a great picture and pretty close to this one but this one has apps...its thinner...more HDMI inputs and its 3d...I bought a few 3d blurays the day I purchased the TV and they look amazing...I heard its not 1080p when 3d but it I sure couldn't tell a dropoff at all quality wise...now as far as audio quality I apologize I have no clue because I hooked straight into surround sound cause I never expect great sound from a TV and as thin as the whole unit is I wouldn't expect too deep of sound and bass...bottom line great TV and extremely happy with my purchase

- Excellent TV Review by dan

I received this TV a few days ago and the picture is is outstanding. The sound is good and I love the Blue tooth remote. The only thing that I do not like is the lack of 3RCA a/v inputs and only one component input. I also have not been able to figure out the Picture in Picture that this TV says that it has and saw no mention of it in the instruction manual. If you have any advice on how to get Picture in Picture I'd appreciate it because I was really wanting to be able to do a workout video while I watched tv. Is that possible?

Just brought yesterday and so far I love it. The remote control if programed correctly will control everything from the cable box to the blueray. Haven't really tried the 3D setting but I plan to. The sound bar is great but if want to watch TV at night with the kids sleeping then you need to shut it off. oter than that the TV picture in HD is great.

I just got mine at Sams Club after waiting quite a while. It is great but is missing one feature that other 3D TV's have - converting 2D to 3D. Otherwise, great TV!

- A fine television... Review by Bob
-
Vizio's website said it was out of stock everywhere in Western NY but I did find one at a BJ's (the farthest one away of course). Simple setup and a fabulous picture. Have yet to try the 3D...just about to order glasses. The audio seemed to be everyone's only drawback on this tv. I'm an audio caveman but it's pretty adequate out of the box, although I do notice it fluctuate slighty at times...hardly noticable. I will, however, be buying speakers for it. This tv is too good not to go the full 9 yards.

- Great TV Review by Ryan

I'm not sure if Walmart jumped the gun, but I bought mine 2 weeks ago online and picked it up the same night in a local store ($100 cheaper online). Be sure to have the store visualy verify that the TV is in stock before ordering.
So far, my expectations have been exceeded. The picture is excellent and the 3D is fantastic as well. I did not notice any appreciable drop in picture quality when watching a 1080p 3D movie. Love the lightweight passive 3D glasses which were one of the main reasons for buying this TV along with price and size.
To test the 3D feature I setup a free vudu account. They offer streaming 3D movies in 1080p. You can also watch two minute clips from each movie for free, great for trying out the 3D. Quality was quite good but didn't seem to match blu-ray.
Overall, great TV.(Posted on 12/6/11)

I love this tv. I had a smaller vizio for my bedroom and love it,so I got this for my family room. It is the easiest thing to unbox and set up. It has a beautiful picture and lots of bells and whistles. the sound is not the best, but a sound bar corrects that in a hurry. the only disappointment I had was the hook ups on the back(lacking in a/c hook ups. The hdmi is a better way to go,but requires either a adapter box for the a/c hook ups on the older equipment. my smaller one had plenty of both but this one did not. Since I need a 3d blue ray player anyway, that will solve my dvd player problem. over all it is a wonderful tv espec. considering the price. Would buy again.

- Conversion question 2D to 3D Review by Dan
-
I love my vizio tv. I have a 55" and love it and am going to buy a 3d tv(probably this one). I love the passive glasses and the fact that you can use a PIP from a different input source. The picture is outstanding and the price is fantastic.
Will there be any type of generic 2D to 3D conversion feature coming soon. I know that this is no where near a perfect science but would be a great way to get some extra benefit from a 3D tv until there is more content in 3D.
I hope this is in Vizio's plans.
