i've had this tv for a year, i bought it on black Friday last year i have not had any real issues and the picture is as crispy as day one after being on almost all day everyday. the 3D is more of a novelty accessory because of the limited 3D content although it does it well i would not notice it gone if it was.
all in all vizio is a great brand, this is my second tv with them in the last 5 years and my first one was an easy blown compositor replacement which i did myself for 98 cents.

Another black Friday buyer here; unfortunately, mine was D.O.A., but Vizio helped me through it and I got a replacement. Other than the downtime, I am very happy with my purchase. The 3D depth is amazing. Like looking into a window.

I was supposed to go buy a 32" Samsung on black friday, but went a little off course and purchased this tv. My wife wasn't too happy until i got it hooked up and she got on facebook. But to make things short, have had nothing but compliments from everyone who see's this tv. How beautiful the picture is, or how it's so clear you can see the pores on faces, just to name a few. The internet apps make life a lil more simple, the 3D is great, an all around great tv that has it all!!

I bought this tv on black Friday thinking it was the M3D420SR but to my surprise it was actually M3D421SR which is the newer model and all I can say is its amazing. I got the hdmi cables and plugged it up to my xbox 360 and it juss perfect the screen has no lag when playing and the quality of the led is great and the colors are just like wow everything has great detail. And the only bad thing I have noticed is that when the screen is black sometimes the edges are a bit brighter than the rest of the screen but it is edge lit led so that's understandable and its not really that noticeable. But overall the apps and quality of this tv make it a great deal to have purchased this on black Friday and I would recommend this tv to anyone looking for a great quality tv for a reasonable price.

We got this tv dec 26, picture is great in 2D and the 3D is even better. We only have 1 3D channel with comcast cable but 360 and PS3 games are so much better in 3D. Very glad we bought this TV. Vizio is a great brand.

Bought on black friday and am having trouble with the colors washing out to white, light green, pink, etc. Have to turn off set to get color back. Have done all the trouble shooting in the book. Hooked up directly to cable so not a network problem. Have email into service for help. I'll let you know how it works out.

I have the M3D421SR and I got a great deal on it at Walmart. It was the same price as the 420 model on the black Friday sale. I just tried a 3D movie and it is not 3D in my opinion. It is the same with or without glasses, and the glasses came with the TV. I will need to contact Vizio about this to see what the problem is. The wifi is a great feature and I am generally satisfied with the TV, but so far the 3D feature is a let down.

I brought mine home 2 weeks ago and have to pull myself away to go to work or to sleep.
The 3D is mind boggling and is clear from an extremely wide viewing angle both side to side and up/down. I do have to turn off the smoothing at times or the soap opera-ish picture quality becomes annoying but that's easy to do with the one-touch menu button.(Posted on 12/19/11)

I bought this tv on Black Friday at Walmart and I love this tv except for 2 things: 1) It has a glossy screen so if there's light in the room I can see myself and other objects in the room when there is dark scenes. 2) I thought I could browse the web. My friend has a LG tv that allows him to do that. Otherwise this tv is awesome.

Also got this from WalMart on Black Friday i thought we were lining up for a completely different TV the(m3d40sr) then they gave me this one for $599 it was a steal.
3D is great on it already watched a bunch of 3D movies, Xbox 360 Black Ops in 3D can be a bit of a task to get it to work but be sure to set your 360 to 720p and enable 3D on the Xbox itself. CoD Black Ops only lets you run 3D if your set to 720p its not the TV's fault its the games. As for other 3D games don't have any.
Do upgrade and get a 3D ready HDMI cable though to HDMI v1.4 or great it truly does make the world of a difference not only with the 3D but with regular performance.
So far amazed with this TV. BUY IT! Always been a Samsung man myself before but I have no complaints at this TV especially for the price and the functionality.

got this on black friday, walmart. TV listed on sale was m3d40sr, but was giving this model instead at same price. slight different (better) in specs (5ms vs 8ms). Simply awesome viewing angle, and 3D depth. wish i would have gotten 2 !!
