dont let 720p deter you Review by k0nawo1v

This TV is a great value. I bought mine back in the summer of 2010, and havent looked back. When i bought it, it was advertised as 1080p (this was the catch for me, i thought that was the only spec that mattered) so i bought it. I was trying to compete with my friend who bought a Vizio E22MV (1080p 22"). When i brought it home and played xbox on it for the first time, i was astounded. The picture was so crisp, i thought i have be secretly given a next gen xbox. There was absolutely no difference in picture quality from my tv to his. As a matter of fact, the Visio Razor performed better because the refresh rate of the tv and my xbox matched up better which led to more responsive controls. Whereas his, you would feel a slight delay in your actions with the controller and the reactions with the TV. I have only recently found out that my TV is actually 720p, which upset me at first. But, then i found out that the other specs of the TV easily make up for it being a 720p. It can however output images in 1080p, i.e. computer games etc. Also, the real world performance of a 720p and a 1080p is almost the same because there are VERY few things that are out that actually take advantage of 1080p as a native resolution.

Vizio, as it would seem, would be considered a secondary brand in the product pyramid. Samsung, LG, and SONY all seem to be the most common in most locations. Well, at least where I live, they are nearly impossible to get a hold of. You would think that you could go to Walmart, Best Buy, KMart (nearly extinct), or any pawn shop and find one. Not anywhere within 59.7 miles of my house, I mapped it. They are, as I read in an earlier post, the "Rage" here. Vizio is way underrated. They are lightweight, efficient, cheap (which matters greatly in this economy {gas at $4.13, tax up to 8%}), and have a great appeal. A TV, is a TV. The brand name is irreverent when it comes to these things. I highly recommend this TV, which I now use as a computer monitor because oh, look at that, I bought a 65” 3D Razor LED HDTV, from where? VIZIO! Best gaming experience since XBOX 360 Live is about to go all 3D Compatible and every top seller has 3D setting, now COD: MW3 and Halo: Revolutions (released 11/4/1991, my birth day too!) will be even more exhilarating, all thanks to Vizio...

I LIKE THIS LED LCD HDTV ALOT I WAS LOOKING INTO BUYING A MONITOR FOR MY NEW COMPUTER BUT I HAD MY EYES ON A ASUS MONITOR BUT SOMEONE TOLD ME IF IM GUNNA GET A MONITOR FOR $170.00 MAYBE I SHOULD CHECK OUT SOME HDTV'S , I FORGOT WITH TECHNOLOGY THESE DAYS THAT SOME HDTV'S CAN FUNCTION AS A MONITOR TOO, SO TOOK HIS ADVICE IT'S THE BEST CHOICE I MADE FOR A MONITOR BECAUSE I CAN ALSO WATCH TV , I DO LIKE THE QUALITY TOO. VIZIO OFFERS QUALITY PRODUCTS THAT HAVE THE SAME CAPABILITIES AS ANY OTHER BRAND ALL FOR A GREAT PRICE VIZIO IS THE BEST

Got this so I could have TV and Computer input via HDMI. With my HP desktop. I now have the best screen for both purposes. The bluray movies are fantastic and the computer screens are clear edge to edge at 1366x768. Well Done Vizio

It is, however, one of the most underated products I've seen. Having said that I can say that dollar for dollar Vizio is as good as the best of them with the customer coming out on top. A fine product from a damn good company.

Have had the M190VA for just a short time but can see that I made the correct choice. Picture and sound are just super clear. From reading the history of the Vizio Company it is clear that they are a progressive company. Very happy with the set.

I love this TV/computer monitor. I was in the market for a computer monitor for my home office and was informed by the sales clerk the ability of this set to function as both a TV and a computer monitor, and run more efficiently than a monitor. I had a very small set in my office prior to this. It was very easy to set up. I love the quality of the picture.

I absolutely love this TV. Bought it to replace a 15" poor quality TV that was used in our home office. Picture and sound is fantastic. I had to rearrange a bit so it would fit where I wanted it placed, but, its just a great TV. I highly recommend it and I'm very picky.

Excellent sound and picture Quality Review by John

In reviewing various brands the VIZIO Razor came out on top. In reading some of the reviews was a little hesitant about quality that is until I saw it play side by side with outer brands. I must say that I am impressed with the sound quality and picture. For a tv this size at this price it was and is a great deal. Shop around prices vary.
