Poor Quality Review by none

i have the EV370Vl sorry i had no luck with my tv as others are stating. im on my third tv sent to me and still have problems. customer service was terrble to work with blaming everthing on the cable co. had cable come and check no problem with cable. i will not puchace another tv made by vizio. asked for refund and was told sorry no can do. go to where i bought the tv which be impossible they have 90 day return policy from date of purchase which is now over a year. maybe the next tv i'll get lucky and not have to return it again.

This is an excellent tv! We have a 47" 1080p Vizio in the house already. I was prepared to spend way more than what this tv cost me. Looked great in the store but even with one already the low priced scared me. We went forward with it...right out of the box this tv is flat out awesome! Great sound and a beautiful picture. Don't even know why I second guessed myself on this purchase. Stop reading reviews...walk out the door and get this tv before Vizio figures out what they really have and decides to charge what this tv should really go for! Thanks Vizio!!!!

Greater quality for a cheaper price Review by Todd

When I decided I wanted to buy a big-screen HDTV that was capable of 1080P I was expecting to have to have to pay up to $1,000. So of course this one stood out almost immediately, it was hundreds cheaper than other brands of similar size/resolutions and the quality of picture even seemed to be better. I use it for DVDs, cable TV, my PS3, and as a secondary (although generally as the primary) monitor for my laptop through an HDMI cable for gaming/movies/browsing and it's been perfect.

Someone else mentioned a ''humming noise" and I have experienced this as well. So far I've only heard it while browsing a few websites with the sound off and with no background noise around me, but it's nothing that troubles me.

My wife and I had been talking for a while about getting an HDTV. Our old TV was a 32" Sylvania, heavy and bulky. We'd been seriously shopping for about 3 weeks. We finally decided on this Vizio for our living room. We live in an apartment and don't have a huge living room so a 37" was enough. We are completely blown away by the quality and affordability of Vizio. We paid $358.00 for this TV at Walmart and it was a steal. The picture is great, barely even notice the 60Hz refresh rate during gaming, and so is the sound. Especially since our Xbox 360 and Blu-Ray player are both using HDMI cables. I'm recommending Vizio to anyone who wants great quality but doesn't want to break the bank.

I was researching tv's for months as I had an old 20 inch tv and wanted a new flat screen. I was familiar with Vizio as a relative purchased the 32 inch and it seemed like a nice tv, so I went for the 37 inch as the price was right (didn't want to spend more than $400). I have to say it was a cinch to setup, had one problem after the "scanning" was done, I got a message saying "no signal", so I called my cable company and 1.2.3. they said I just needed to adjust the "input" from the remote (it was set on TV and needs to be changed to HDMI), so as soon as I hit the input button, I chose the HDMI selection and the picture came right on. I sifted thru the menu button on the remote to familiar myself with all the features and have to say the "the process was very easy". I am amazed at the surround sound, its great. I am not used to playing a tv so loud as my apartment is small but I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product highly to anyone looking for a great tv on a budget.

Just purchased this TV after lots and lots of research. Don't be fooled by marketing you don't need half the crap out there. Use this as a primary monitor for my laptop as well. Wonderful!

We needed to replace the TV in the Family room and bought this model out of a wall full of other brands. I wasn't looking at brands just picture quality and this TV put the rest to shame including ones that cost up to $200.00 more. After we got it home I decided it was such a great price and beautiful picture I went back and bought one for my Man Cave, I may never come out.

My wife and I just purchased this television yesterday, and I must say that I am very pleased thus far. I work for the local (and extremely heavy player nationally) cable provider. My previous 19" television went out on Super Bowl Sunday (Murphy's Law) and we had finally had enough with no television at home. With our extremely limited budget coupled with my extensive knowledge with the brand, we bit the bullet and to my excitement, brought home our new TV. I must say that for the money we had at our disposal, this TV was the best option we found and we couldn't be more happy with it. That said, it has only been almost a whole day that we have had it and that we aren't as technologically demanding as many consumers are these days. Bottom line, for our needs and wants: we are extremely pleased with our purchase.

Humming Noise Review by Phooper

Very happy with the choice. Good Quality, Excellent Picture, Great Value. Only negative comment is that the TV seems to have a low Humming noise coming from it with the volume all the way off. This is something that I have not experienced with my other flat screen TVs including one other Vizio. It cannot be heard when the volume is set at a moderate level; however, it leaves me wondering if the TV is supposed to be doing this.

picks up digital antenna tv stations nicely (no cable), and has been very easy to hook stuff up to (xbox360, bluray, etc). looks good from all angles, and the built in speakers are surprisingly decent. Would have liked another HDMI plug in (there are two), but so far I guess two has been enough. The TV is nice and light, and it seems pretty secure on the included mount/base. not much else to say...it does what it should, and it does it pretty nicely.

I love this tv. It is not only the best on the market in my opinion, but Vizio blu-ray players and the wireless sound bar with subwoofer bring you a whole new kind of extravagant entertainment. I recommend Vizio to all my friends and family. Great for crystal clear movies and gaming is taken to a whole new level. You can tell im a fan. I'm not a big tech guy,so for me,this was a big step up in my viewing.Running digital cable and a mini Apple thru this set.Still getting use too the resolution from 720p to 1080...but so far,I love it!!

Bought this on Black Friday in 2010; got it at a great price and love this TV. I frequently hook up my laptop to it and use it as a monitor (great for spreadsheets!). Couldn't be happier with this TV.
