I just purchased this product for myself, I had bought one last year for my in-laws and found that it had better sound and clarity than my high priced Sony surround sound. It was easy to install right out of the box and the sound is rich and clear I recommend this to anyone who would like to give their home theater a boost and it works great with my Vizio tv and Blue Ray Player perfect combination.

I got a sound bar and woofer system for a christmas present and it was the best present i"ve gotten in a long time. i did a lot of reading on this product and decided on it for my 46 vizio tv . i love the sound from just the two speaker system.but i would like to know how to program it to my directtv remote.GOOD JOB VIZIO.

Got my VHT210 (Soundbar and subwoofer) late last night, piece of cake to install it, using a digital audio cable. Would like any recommendations on the optimum way to set this up. Also, does anyone know how to set up the Comcast HD/DVR controller to operate the VHT210?

After checking out the big boys(Sony,Boston,Yamaha,Samsung) sound bars at Fry's I was not impressed with the features they had. The idea of a wireless sub sounded like a great idea. Checking out Vizio's website made me think I better check out their model. I stopped by Target and they are selling out quick at most Targets. The one on the floor was damaged by so much use, so I took the chance and drove to another Target to pick one up. Their demo model was broken as well, but I bought one and I'm totally surprised at the quality of the sound. $250.00 is a great value. I'm going to recommend these to anyone I know. The only thing I was not impressed with was the lack of info in the store and on the box. When I shop, I want to see how many watts and other important audio information on the box. They do not supply the optical audio cable and it does not say on the box ( Not included ) They really sound put some of this info out there to save driving back to the store for a $25 cable. My 47" Vizio LCD does not accept the old analog audio cables. I think they should include the right cables from the get go...this being an HD device and all. But this is a great simulated surround sound. Watch out Bose!!

I purchased this system from Sam's. It was a snap to install, I used the optical cable connection (bought the cable thru Monoprice.com, very cheap cable) and the sound is incredible. Love listening to Pandora with my 55" Vizio HDTV that's connected with ethernet cable to internet and this sound system. Also bought a 42" Vizio HDTV that's connected to WiFi. Also bought the Vizio router. Couldn't be happier with all these purchases. Keep it up Vizio, I'm thinking about buying stock in the company!

My wife and I received a Vizio TV from her uncle for Christmas 2009 and when he asked what she wanted this year, she had done her homework and mentioned the VHT210. He found it at Sam's the following day and we had it set up in about an hour. The wireless subwoofer is the bomb! What a wonderful sound enhancement it has brought our living room! The included analog sound cables gave an excellent sound but optional S/PDIF optical sound cables will knock your socks off! Great job Vizio!

I purchased the Soundbar out of convience and money status. I had never heard of or seen the product prior to the day I was in Walmart pricing out home stereo/surround sound systems. Once I got it home and opened the box, I could not believe how easy they had made it for me to install.
VERY pleased with this item and have told a number of my friends about the Soundbar.
Would purchase another, if the need arouse.

After going through a Polk (would not allow internet with my Samsung 3d Blueray DVD player)and Sony(sounds like listening to a tin can) sound bars I tried the Vizio system( Consumer Reports recommended) and 'm convinced there isn't a better Sound Bar system for the price.The voices are extremely clear and the bass is more than adequated.I'm using S/Pdf for my DVD player and A/V with my DirecTV receiver.Incidently the Sound bar can be controled with a DirecTV remote.

I know this is for the 210 but this is my experience anyway. My first purchase was of just the sound bar... that is in my bedroom with the plasma and sounds great! No need for bass for me there... it has a full sound as is. Next was the five ten when I saw at Costco and had to have it because it has the rear speakers which sound decent... not amazing... a little tingy and empty but they are small? The front bar sounds amazingly good. Loud, full rich, deep. I have it in front of my tv on the stand. The subwoofer is decent with some loud explosions sounds a little muddy to me. Now, that said with all of these together with the front sound bar and the ghost hint of rear speakers... the filler with the sub... it sounds really really good! Very nice. I had speakers waiting to get hooked up... big huge theater I was planning. I was looking at Denons 4810 and match that up with speakers and a fine sub. I had to save cause the Denon is about two k. It is complicated... the sound would be amazing with the Denon I am sure but thousands of dollars. This was over three hund and it gives me ALL the sound I want that is comfortable and cool. Gives me the rich surround sound feel and sound. I am very happy with my purchase and I save a ton of money. A ton! and probably a lot of hassle with mounting speakers and and and.

First unit would not sync with subwoofer so I returned it to Sam's Club. Easily got a replacement . Using it with an older Vizio 32" with the optical input was easy to connect. Subwoofer synced on it own. In a small room with a vaulted ceiling sound is great. Volume works with all remotes. For TV and cable box.

i had no idea going into this how it was going to sound i bought it to complete a new home theater setup including a new 42 inch vizio tv and bluray player and i knew i wanted something more than the tv speakers so i got it all together and wow the sound i fantastic for a all in one unit i love the wireless subwoofer which paired to the sound bar right away, no setup required and the sub is quite good for its size and the remote features separate volume controls for the sub a big plus. the remote is paper thin and could easily lost in a sofa cushion so be careful, my soundbar started acting flaky after a couple days and thought the remote night be the problem well after a couple days of trouble shooting with no luck finally it started working again on its own so I'm a happy camper once again. although I'm worried since i don't know why it stared working again. you can be sure i will get a replacement and not switch to a different brand vizio was patient on the phone and I'm confident they will honor the warranty if needed

I purchased the Vizio soundbar at Sams, and I gotta say that I am truly impressed at the sound this small size package is putting out! Must admit I'm totally new to using Vizio products, just got my Vizio SV472XVT alond with a new Vizio Blu-Ray VBR231 and my limited experience with your products thus far have removed any doubts I may have had in giving Vizio a go over the other guys... Keep it up!!! :)

I bought this setup in lieu of the bose 321 system. I compared both systems side by side and the quality of sound was exactly the same, but the Vizio was way cheaper. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a good surround sound without breaking the bank.
