Love this tv. The picture is great. All my friends can't get over how good the picture is. Almost like being on the set. Some people don't like that, but i love it. I definately recommend buying this tv.........

The picture is absolutly amazing, we were saying we will never go to the movies again b/c we are at the movies every day in our living room. Also, for a flat panel the sound is amazing...most flat panel TV's if you turn the volume up past 10 it will rattle and vibrate and sounds terrible with this TV you don't have to have a sound system to have good sound it is really great. Never rattles or vibrates even when you have the sound really high. Amazing price for all that is included, I can watch netfilx, Hulu & all the other stuff at a touch of a button, we paid less than $1000 for this and it was the best buy ever. So far so good, Visio is going to give the other TV's a run for thier money b/c they are less expensive and include wireless internet, while all the other TV's we looked at had to have an attachment to pick up internet, which cost like $100, not w/ this TV. You will not regret this purchase, if you can find one in stock, we went to 5 different Walmarts, found one finally brought it home and the screen was busted, so we took it back to another walmart and got another one, but the instruction books were missing, but luckily it was so easy to use I was able to figure all of it out w/out the books, it takes you though step by thru set up so didn't really need them but would have liked to have them, I have sent the request for them to customer service so we will see. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have!!!

I had been looking at this set for some time. I had narrowed it down between this and the 55inch by HiSense. When I finally decided on the Vizio I found it at Meijer for 948.00 and if you signed up for a Meijer card they gave you 10% off. When we went to check out they informed us sense we signed up for the Meijer card on a weekend that we get 20% off. We ended up getting it for just over 750.00! WOW! what an amazing TV. We upgraded from a Samsung 42" plasma which was an excellent TV but we wanted internet apps to SKYPE with family members. Could not image getting a better TV for the money with everythign we looked at we beat the next best deal by 300.00

I AM A SENIOR VIDEOGRAPHER FOR A LARGE ABC TV STATION. WE EVALUATE OUR CAMERAS AND STUDIO LIGHTING USING PROFESSIONAL MONITORS THAT COST ABOUT TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS EACH. THE VIZIO COMES VERY CLOSE TO MATCHING THAT VIDEO QUALITY. I BOUGHT OURS A FEW MONTHS AGO SO I CANNOT SPEAK TO DURABILITY YET,BUT THE IMAGE IS JUST EXCELLENT.I SET MINE UP USING THE AVIA GUIDE TO HOME THEATER. FOR THE MONEY I CANNOT IMAGINE A BETTER SET...

So far so good on this tv. Walmarts price is 898. 960 with taxes. Its a nice tv. I love all the features. In my opinion it has all the bells and whistles of any other tv minus the 3d and a few hundred bucks. It would be nice to have more apps available. The blockbuster app seems to have disappeared and thats upsetting. Sometimes the hd cable display decides it doesn't want to be compatible with the tv and thats annoying. Im sure that has nothing to do with the tv.

I purchased this model from Walmart (online) site to store and saved $100.00 The price on line $898.00. I love this tv. It is worth every penny. Crisp video. The apps are my fav. There are quite a few to download (YouTube,Facebook,Twitter,etc).

bought this from walmart and set up was easy and love the apps love the streaming and the picture is unbelievable the sound is very good exellent tv for the price i replaced my 48" phillips with this one and what a difference it was would definitley buy another vizio well worth the money paid 949.00 at walmart.

POSITIVE/WITH CAVEAT Review by JIM

many shows result in a clipping of the top and bottom of the picture if zoom is used. Viewing in 'Panorama' can be disconcerting by the edges curling around. It can be difficult to decide on the best viewing mode (wide, zoom, normal or panorama)
Picture quality is "Spectacular" I can't wait to hookup a home theater sound system to this TV.

Great TV for the price but missing some features Review by Jeff

Really like this TV and thought the price was excellent. Until I learned that the TV's price was low because it does not include blue tooth or the universal sliding remote. Not a big issue but something to consider.

I also purchased this tv from walmart $998.00 came out to $1090.00 after tax and recycle fee. The picture is ridiculous. Looks like your watching the movie on scene. He sound is ok but could be better. Gaming on this tv is off the hook too. It looks better than my panasonic plasma. You get what you pay for and with this tv you get more!!!!

GOOD TV Review by PATCH

Now I watch streaming wireless videos, effortlessly ! And so easy to set up! I love the Widgets!. Had I known how excellent this experience would be I would not have hesitated to buy this TV.
The picture quallity is further enhanced by the the different Picture Modes, another thing I did not really get to see at the televisions display at Walmart. Each picture mode is stunningly different and modifiable.
This TV is the greatest value for a 55" under $1000 at this time ($ 998.00 Walmart). PERIOD.!
I am writing this review because maybe it will help someone else who is, " lost in the seas of LCD confusion". If you can afford this one, I guarantee, ' you- gonna- love- it '.
Don't fear the "Widget". Simple to use remote is a real winner, as well. I am just crazy about this TV model E552VL. Do yourself a favor and score big with this one!.

We purchased this 55" from Walmart on May 2, 2011, and now after close to 3 months, I am very pleased!! Great picture and easy to set up. Would recomend it to anyone. I don't have HD from Dishnetwork yet, but antenna channels are very sharp at 720P! But even the 480 Dish programming is pretty sharp and clear. The color is great too. always been a stickler for the color being lifelike and they are pretty close. The built in sound is a little on the whimpy side, but it'll do for now.

I purchased this TV from Walmart, as I noticed many others have done. This TV is by far the best TV I have ever owned. It surpasses Sony, Phillips, Samsung and many others in picture quality. My Toshiba 62 inch, that was my pride and joy, does not even come close. I have retired the Toshiba to the status of "Fish Tank!" I have one other Vizio in my bedroom and it is just as good as this one. The 55 inch is very easy to setup and operates very smoothly. Thanks for making such an affordable, outstanding TV!

I just bought this at walmart two weeks ago. I have another 55' which is not Vizio, but cost me over 1,000$ more than this one. The picture is AWSOME much better than the Sony! I watched the "Royal wedding" in HD and it was life like! Like looking through a window. The sound is not too hot but i have surround sound system..... I told the wife i NEVER expected this out of a Vizzio!!! I just wish i could check my G-Mail from the apps...

I just got this TV at Walmart, it has a very nice quality, i like the wiereless internet so i can watch netflix without any computer or game console, the remote control is a little slow in response, the sound is fine too.
