this is my second vizio and i have to say,im extremely happy with this purchase.the picture is just amazing,bluray movies look awesome,as does xbox 360.the audio isnt bad,but could be improved.as for the remote it really doesnt bother me.overall,i would recommend this to friends or anyone looking for quality on a budget.

I own 5 of them and each one is better than the last...this one the E22VL, is really a super kind of set. I have not problems with it..the set up was simple, and the auto instruction makes is a no brainer. I am satisfied with all of them, starting with our small kitchen TV about 2-3 years ago. Three of them have APS and they are worth the money as it adds an extra dimension to TV watching. The support staff in S. Dakota is also super. If you have any problems, they take care of them very nicely. My next purchase might be another e422VL. CLC

I have been looking at and comparing pictures of tvs for the past 6 months and every time, my eyes took me to the Vizio. Well, yesterday I made the big decision and went to Walmart and bought the E422VL for my family room-also replacing a Zenith 27". (When I read renna's review I thought I had already posted and forgot! LOL)
I don't subscribe to digital cable, I know-I am cheap!- but the picture is good anyway. If I leave it in normal mode it is a fantastic picture.My granddaughter helped me set it up, so it was a breeze in that regard. Might have taken me a bit longer than 20 minutes! I haven't had a chance to try Facebook or anything that requires letter entering, but I am sure I will get used to it on the remote that comes with it. I too, wish it had a qwerty keypad.
I am excited to have this new tv and am expecting to enjoy watching tv again like it is supposed to be enjoyed! (visible & when necessary, readable.)(Posted on 2/17/12)

This TV is great. Awesome color, Quality, etc. Great with my Playstation 3, and love it how it wirelessly syncs with my router. Only down fall, the small remote, I called tech support just now and hoping to get a qwerty keyboard one, and of course that one is bluetooth and this tv is not bluetooth, but I guess buyer beware. and yes the remote should be backlit! wouldn't that be the smart way?

I just purchased this TV at Walmart about 48 hours ago and I have to tell you that I am immediately impressed with the quality of it. I love how easy it is to use even though i agree the remote could be a little bit bigger. Sound quality is average but crisp. I give this TV a 9.5 out of 10. You won't find anything better in this price range.

Great Tv . Got as Christmas present 2012.Cant get over the awesome color and definition . Vizio has started to become a big player in LCD world. Only down fall is the remote is too small, not backlit,and sometimes non responsive. This is our main TV and i can't keep my wife and little girl out in front of it, so i can watch it.

Bought as a family room TV (secondary) but everyone seems to migrate to this one. Replaced an old 27" Zenith. Price point and features were right on. Picture and sound quality excellent - most definite in HD broadcasts. Buttons on remote are really small though. Highly recommend Vizio products.

Purchased this tv 3 weeks ago. So far no problems at all. Very nice with Bluray. even with ordinary dvd's. I recommend Vizio to anyone who is wanting the perfomance and price to match or beat any name brand.Ballgames are absolutely unbeleivable. I compared this tv with others. Very Happy with my decision to purchase VIZIO. :)

I enjoy the color, features and especially the streaming capabilities of this tv. Set up was a breeze. I dont like the remote. The buttons are small and it should be illuminated. I was also expecting a full text keyboard and have found using some of the internet apps to be inconvenient due to the limitations of the texting. I am also interesting in removing some of the internet apps due to parental concerns..

I've always been a Samsung TV liker, but went with the Vizio to replace an old
TV in my downstairs area. I liked the price to get 120mhz refresh rate and the contrast ratio was good.
My only "con" would be that I wish there was an aftermarket way to get the QWERTY keyboard remote like the upgraded Vizio with 3D. The kids say it really isn't necessary to access the online apps, so I guess not a biggy...just something nice to have if one wanted to purchase.
The picture is great and clear: I think Vizio has made themselves a true competitor in the TV field compared to even 3-4 years ago; they're name wasn't as trusted then for a solid product. I can see the strides they've made to keep up with the competition.
You can't buy this much in a TV anywhere else with what this has on it!

This T.V. is great! I bought it for gaming specifically for the den. The 120 HZ is just fine for the fast moving online games I have played and the clarity is awesome. For the money the 240 HZ does not make that big of a difference as I have played on both. I think the only complaint is no Bluetooth, with the Wi-fi I would think all the wireless technology that could be thrown at would of been!

Remote control buttons are WAY too small and the "mute" which is used often in our case is difficult to find in the layout. Needs to be redesigned! Other than that love the TV, esp. the color is awesome.

Purchased this as my first HD LCD TV (yes I know I'm way behind) Purchased this at wal mart for $578 and couldnt be happier. Just wish comcast would broadcast in 1080p instead of 1080i. Xbox and Blu-Ray look AMAZING with HDMi cables added. No issues so far. Also, very easy to set up.
