My daughter encouraged me to purchase this tv as our first HDTV. We have been very happy with it and extremely excited about the lifetime tech support feature. We are older and have had to call several times before getting it set up properly. The support staff is in the US and is a BIG plus for us. They are patient and most helpful. Now looking to buy a VIZIO computer.

I bought not 1 Vizio Smart tv but I bought 2. Now I want to take #2 back and get a bigger one. The tv's are great. Great price, great quality, great sound, and great pictures. I bought the tv's at Walmart and the clerk thought I was joking when I said I wanted 2. He checked the stock of tv's and he had a 42" and a 47" Vizio Smart TV. I purchased the 42" on a Friday night and returned Saturday evening for the 47". I was also impressed at how light weight the tv's are. I have a Sonata and was able to put each tv in the back seat when transporting them home. It was also light enough for me to pull out of the car without any assistance and take in the house (a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do). It was easy to set up and get started. Directions were brief and clear. I'm sorry but #2 is going back so I can get #3 (a bigger smart tv). I really like these tv's. GOOD JOB VIZIO!!!

I bought this 42 inch LCD at walmart three weeks ago and I am very happy with the picture and sound quality of this set. The sound is so good, I can barely turn it up past 16. I have not had a chance to use the wifi apps as of yet. I would still recommend this LCD tv, I went through a Sony, Emerson and a Phillips before staying with the Vizio E422AR. I would give the overall quality of this set 4 stars out of 5. The only reason for this is that it takes around 10 to 15 seconds for the tv to come on, a minor problem.

I just bought the e422ar model and I love it so far. I'm waiting on being able to put the wifi to use and in the meantime I layer away the 42 inch soundbar. I've heard that makes the sound even better for gaming and DVDs. Very satisfied!

Bought this tv at costco for $489,99 and got the 5 years warranty for an extra $30. I bought 2 of these smart tvs in the last 6 months. They are amazing, although the newer version is greater HD and faster with the apps. Highly Recommended, worth every penny of the $500!!!!

this is my first vizio purchase and the picture and sound quality have been amazing for the price. The only downside is that fact they never really updated the app market but i guess thats because they were designing the co-star. I just put in my pre order and hoping that will truly unlock all the extras of this great tv.

This 42' 422AR is my second Vizio product an I couldnt be happier. In my opinion Vizio has the sharpest picture short of live. I cant see owning anything else. My next one will pobaly be a 3D.

After my 4 yr old Vizio stopped working, I was highly upset. My wife insisted on purchasing another Vizio. After purchasing a 42" E-Series I am please once again with Vizio. Bright, clear & vivd picture, it's like being in the studio while they are recording the TV shows.
