I bought my 42inch Vizio in 2005. I have had it about 7years,still gets as good of a picture
as the day I bought it. I am so happy I could just jump up and down.

This is my second VIZIO TV and it's just as great as my first one (55"). I purchased it for my grandaughter's room so she can play both her XBOX 360 Kinect and WII game consoles. I also have the VIZIO BluRay DVD player so that is one happy kid.

Con - The remote is not that great but it is functional

Pro - Picture is bright, uses less engerny, easy to setup and installs on the wall great.

I replaced the remote with a Logitech remote and everyone is happy.

I purchased my V421VO and I am honestly very impressed with all the features so far. I have only had the set a few days but the HDMI works great with my laptop. I am one happy customer and will keep you posted.

This is my second Vizio TV a 42". We wish we had purchase before a panasonic we got. As soon as I sell it, I'm getting a 55'' for my family room. The 42" is in the studio, the small one is our computer monitor. You can't beat the price, great picture output, energy star rated, & all the accessories with the easy connector access. I also hook a Vizio Blu-Ray player, we don't go to movies as much now.

I purchased this for my daughter , we love the picture.

Pros= Picture, functionality, best of all the extended warranties.

Cons = Remote, and Sound.

All in all it's a pretty good HD TV I would Rate from a scale 1-5 and 5 being the best.

It gets a solid 5 Plus, just because the extended warranty alone is cheap and covers a great amount we love it.

Compare this to my Sony xbr 70" the thing craped out on us now after spending $7000 on it new, still under warranty sony said we can not repair it however if you want we can offer you a 32" for $800 discounted well I told Sony to kiss my ass, also sony has a few class actions pending with this issue we are one of them.

The only reason im telling you all this is because the VISIO offers a free replacement with their extended warranty we love it a company who is true to their product.

I research for hours before buying this TV from Dell, about $519 delivered to my door. I bought it for my son's X-Box. One of the main reasons I bought it was because of the energy star rating...only 88W. I had looked at similar 42" LCD's that consumed over 200W. Sometimes these TV's are on all day, so not only was the price great, but it will save me a bundle in the long run. I'm surprised nobody seems to discuss the power consumption, but it's really important. The picture is beautiful, and there are plenty of inputs. You won't be disappointed with this TV.

VIZIO is the best Review by themetro

This is my second VIZIO within 4yrs. I still have and LOVE my 37" HD TV but I really love my new EV420. I coordinated it with a harman/kardon Blueray disk player...absolutely amazing. Great TV for a great price.
