What a lucky buy! Review by Dan C.

I bought this TV on black friday after going to Best Buy, Sears, Wal-Mart ect...my last choice was Target, and i got the last one in stock! I wanted full 1080p, and i got it! As soon as i got home i un-boxed the thing and plugged it in. My heart stopped when i couldnt find the remote or power cable (nice job hiding them behind the foam corner). I hooked my PS2 up to it and discovered that i needed a PS3..lol. But when im watching my usual TV shows...OMFG!! The clarity!! My roomates got home and immediatley fell in love with it. My buddy owns a 51" plasma and he says this thing blows it out of the water. Being able to plug my Motorola Droid X into it is an added bonus!! And to think....i was going to buy an Emerson 32"....HA!

Great Buy! Review by PJ

I love this TV. Its a bedroom TV so 37" is the perfect size. My Mom bought a 42" Sony Bravia TV for hundreds of dollars more and I have to say, the picture on the Vizio beats it easily. Very impressed. I know a lot of people think Vizio is a cheap brand because they haven't been around as long as Sony, Samsung, Sharp, etc. but if they keep delivering TVs like this, they'll be considered one of the top brands.

Got this tv at wal-mart and absolutely love it so far-- great picture with no problems with sound so far - I do agree with some others that even when the VIZIO is turned off the logo is still quite bright and I need to tape over the logo so I can get to sleep as it is my bedroom tv and the logo even tho dimmed when off it is still very bright-- it should go off when the tv is off-- I guess they couldnt make it perfect

Great TV for the price. Picture is excellent.

We experienced a problem with the sound. Sometimes it would be out of sync with the cable box (comcast replaced box 2x, still the same), sometimes it would fluctuate up and down by itself or sounded garbled. Now we have nothing, just a slight high pitched tone.

Costco's tech support has been excellent and Its my understanding that they will be sending out a service technician shortly to fix or replace.

I'm an electronics tech, a geek and a former tv salesman. Friends come to me for advice when they want a new electronic product. Apparently I can explain technical things to them. The first friend saw my Vizio 47" and fell in love. His budget and available space called for something a little smaller. The E371VA was the perfect size and the $50 rebate at the time made it the perfect price. Once we compared it to the rivals the decision was easy.

The next friend had decided she wanted a Brand X 37" television. I asked if I could show her only one set before she handed over any money. Yes, it was this one and she took it home on the spot.

My mother's sad, old, CRT model had seen better days. It fit her entertainment center is about the only complement I could give it. There is another set that perfectly fits the furniture. Uh-huh, it has Vizio written across the front of it.

Two other friends have also bought different 47" models. Are you listening Vizio? Seriously, EVERYONE has been estatic over their purchase. I'm a hero. Be the hero in your house and buy this tv.

I reviewed my M470NV (and other Vizio purchases) elsewhere but included some general Vizio info as well as some things you might want to know about flat screen TVs as well. Contact info is available in that review.

If funds are a little tight, I can't recommed the E371VA highly enough. You'll love the 120Hz refresh rate when football season starts. C'mon, be a hero!

Amazing! Review by PS3

I use this TV mostly for gaming on a Sony PS3. With the 1080p and HD sound this is one perfect TV. I don't have HD cable TV, but SD looks pretty good. It's a perfect TV in my opinion.

Very Great TV Review by del101885

I bought my TV at Costco with the extended 2 year warranty, and love this TV. The TV has a great amount of input ports and the picture is wonderful. The contrast ratio is very good. I think that this tv is a great value. The only complaint that I have is that the VGA port has to have perfect conditions for it to work, and then only works in 4:3 input ratio. I have friends who have TVs that are similar, but of different brands, and this TV is by far the best of them...

I have read many of the review before purchaseing. The picture is great. I did what was suggested for the volume and hope to not buy a sound bar. There is a $100 rebate now on this TV at BJ's and I got a brand new one for $399. Great set for great value.

I bought this TV at Costco and brought it home and set it up and the volume did not work
thought it was the cable, but it was the TV. Costco's tech suport was great, but the TV was defective. Costco returned it with no problem. They were out of this TV but a shippment was soon to come in. They still gave me the sale price when i first bought it. Good going Costco. The new TV is set up and the volume works. This TV is great.
Costco was the only place that had this TV with the 120HZ.

Got 2 of these recently, very easy to set up using AT&T uVerse, DVD player, Wii. My only con is limited inputs for non HDMI devices. The sound issue so many complain about is easily fixed by disabling the SRS TruVolume and keep in mind it is NOT a home theater set it is only a TV.

Good price, great Picture Review by mrau

I spent a long time looking for a 120HZ, 37" TV because that was the size I needed. There aren't very many to choose from. I'm very glad I picked this TV. The picture is very clear, even when watching programs from my digital cable provider. Many people have posted in forums that the sound quality isn't very good from the internal speakers, but I would have to say it is good enough. If I could change anything, I would turn of the Vizio insignia when the TV is not powered on. Other than that, it's a great TV for a good price.

Love Tv but a few small problems Review by JAR

Very Easy to hook up .Great picture ,even like the sound .Two things , I am wall mounting the TV . The silver collar on tv for mounting, I could not get off one of the Three screws ,two came out easily .
Like the tv enough to keep it . The TV would look better with out the collar.
When you shut off the TV don,t have the V still lit.

My family and I received this TV from my parents as a gift, after watching the super bowl on my 20 yr old Sony TV. Although I do not have a HD receiver, the picture is great. The problem I do have is the sound is horrible. After adjusting the bass to 100 it does sound a little better, but will definitely have to get some sort of sound bar for this TV. The price was absolutely awesome from Costco. Overall it was a good buy.

I Love my New Vizio TV! Review by Pamela

I received my picture-perfect VIZIO HD TV from my parents last month for Hanukkah! At age 50, I do not expect such extravagant gifts from them, and of course, I was beyond thrilled! Shortly after they purchased their own VIZIO several years ago, I visited them from across the country. No doubt they noticed just how much I enjoyed watching sports on their TV. I'm a college football fanatic and with the bowl games coming up, receiving the TV in mid-Dec was fantastic! I was simply amazed that the excitement of each game could be so enhanced simply by viewing a better, clearer and sharper picture. While 5 out of 6 of my teams lost their bowl games, I did enjoy most of them. Now with the HD, it was the first time that I could definitely make each call, with the clarity of the goal line, the football and the runner's knee! I recommend the VIZIO over all other brands, and do so without reservation.

I recently purchased this tv on Amazon "Black Friday" and got it at a great price! The only problem is that the left speaker did not work and I am waiting for a technician to come out and take care of the problem. Other than that I love it!

GREAT, GOOD, AND OK Review by STRETCH

For the price, the view on the screen is GREAT. So are the number of channels it picks up on cable. Setting this up was so easy. This 37" screen and sound is good for the price. I had hope that the menu system was to be GREAT, but it was OK, in comparing it to larger expensive flat screen. Costco has the GREAT price after window shopping on the road.

Very Impressed Review by Dan the Man

I just bought this television on Black Friday and I can't say enough positive things about it. I am so impressed with the quality of picture, the ease of menu navigation for programming, the number of useful features, and last but certainly not least, the great price. I bought the Wi-fi Vizio Blu-ray player as well and it's just all amazing. I have a 58" Panasonic Plasma television in my "man-area" downstairs, and although it's also amazing, I have to admit that the Blu-ray movies don't look quite as good on it as they do on my vizio. I was blown away, I recommend it to all my friends and I plan on buying a 42" for my mom and girlfriend. Great product!!!

My only "Con" with the product is the mounting neck on the bottom of the tv, designed to attach to the base utilized for table-top placement, doesn't come off. So as my tv hangs on the wall, the chrome neck is visualized on the bottom. I talked to customer service about this and two different techs advised me that this model was not designed to have the removable neck. I find it absurd but I guess it's nothing that a precision hacksaw job won't fix - honestly!!

Great Picture low cost Review by steve

Bought the tv for the second viewing room 37inches was perfect for the space. The primary Tv is a 47in Olevia 60 hz but now I spend more time in the other room. The 120hz and 4hdmi was a great combo. Watched Avatar on both tv's and hands down Vizio is the winner. Would have liked a dedicated headphone jack and able to disable the lighted Vizio logo. Great value!

I bought the 37" Vizio last November at Target and I just love it. They had a special that day and I received the Vizio Blue Ray Disc Player for free with my purchase of the TV. The picture and color are excellent. I know four people who have purchased a Vizio and everyone loves their TV's. I would recommend this TV and only this TV to anyone.

Great tv Review by Draburn

Just bought the 37" Vizio tv, and absolutely love it. The first thing I did was plug in my xbox 360 with the HDMI cable and can't get over how crystal clear it is. I would recommend this tv to anyone. Got it at WalMart with the two year warranty,( which I strongly recommend when you buy any tv from walmart). It was also super easy to connect the Cable. All in all, a very good investment on my part.

I spent 2 weeks on the internet researching 37-42" tvs and this Vizio 37" 120hz was the best investment. I couldn't have asked for more. The clarity of picture, whether I'm watching movies, sports or videos is simply outstanding. There is alot of features that I haven't been able to read on yet. I can't wait until I am able to use the full functionality.

I would recommend this brand to anyone!!!

I have had my TV for about 3 weeks now. I bought it at Costco. Great size and great price.
I took it out of the box and hooked it up to the cable.easily. I have had no problems at all. The picture is excellent. I would recommend this set - i tis good looking, very light weight, easy to set up and has a great picture.

Just bought this tv at my local costco. The picture is amazing for the price. I decided to go with tried and true fluorescent instead of LED and I don't regret it. The 120 Hz sees no blur even in sports. I like the looks of the tv, and the shiny border is flat so no light bounces onto the screen. Awesome tv, worth every penny
