I waited a long time before I would spend the money on a new TV. I am glad I waited. I looked at Walmart when they had it for $298, but I was too late...they were all sold out and was told Vizio couldn't keep up with the demand. I then went over to Sams Club and bought for just $20 more. $319. I was comparing it to a Samsung model in the same class that sold for $348. The Samsung actually had LED quality, however I kept going back to this Vizio because it had the speaker in the front of the TV versus in the back. I have an armoire that I have the TV in and if speaker was in back of TV the sound might not of been as good. On this Vizio 320VL the picture qualtiy and sound was excellent so I decided to take it home. The hookup was easy, assembly and instructions also easy. I have an older DVD player and it does quite well on picture and sound. This TV is hooked up to just an antenna and the picture quality is great!!! (no fancy cable or satellite here, not going to waste my money) So with this said, I am sooo glad I bought this set. I am very happy with it.

- All these excellent reviews weren't lying! Review by Bob

After years of waiting for my old CRT to die so I could get a HD widescreen (and it not cooperating), my wife took pity on me and told me to go ahead and get one, as long as it fit in our oak entertainment center. While I originally wanted a "big" TV, a 32" is as big as would fit. Turns out it is more than ample. If you pay attention at sports bars and restaurants, the 32" is oftern what they have and you view that from a lot further away than the 10' I have in my living room. As usual I researched heavily online before purchasing. I had narrowed down my choices to a comparable Philips, LG and this Vizio. I wanted to purchase at Sam's Club if possible since the price (the Vizio was $328) is very competitive with other discount stores AND I get an extra years warranty with my Plus membership. The extended warranties there dirt cheap as well and I almost always buy them on high-dollar electronics after a bad laptop experience a few years ago. I had my satellite provider set me up with my free HD upgrade. Pay the extra $6 a month and get the DVR too. The paused live TV and recording are convenient and easy. But back to the Vizio! The picture is awesome, especially in the vivid mode and I have yet to pick up on a "lag" with fast action, which wasn't the case with the other TVs I considered. I stood at a couple of stores quite a while watching all kinds of shows to evaluate the picture quality. I recommend finding a hockey channel to make your choice. When the camera pans across the white ice at high speed you'll know if the picture will meet your expectations. Vizio's shipping box is ingenious - one of the easiest unpacking and set ups I've ever done. I also got Vizio HDMI cables at Sam's. The gold-tipped two pack was just $35, half the price of the same cables at Walmart. I picked up a Sony upscaling DVD player at Walmart and when connected with a HDMI cable, standard DVDs are really just about like HD. I could go on and on, but the last feature I'll give kudos to is the front mounted speakers. This made extra sense when setting the TV in the entertainment center, but I think it is just good design period. My hearing isn't what it once was, but even at a relatively low volume setting, I can hear things very well with this TV. I may come back and write a review after I've had the TV for a while, but based on other reviews I've read, likely I'll be convinced that I made a great choice, even more so than I am after just a week!

I bought this TV and I am not disappointed. The TRU surround sound is extremely good, my DVD player helped make the sound better. It's only Full HD 1080 when you hook it up to a computer/laptop, but still a great picture even with me just using basic cable and my upconverting DVD player.
I recommend this TV, LCD beats plasma and like a paper I wrote in 2003/2004, its becoming the new standard, taking the place of the old 'boob-tube'. Oh and warranties are more than worth it.(Posted on 2/11/11)
- I'm so glad I bought this Tv Review by Jennifer

I bought this tv at walmart.com for $298 and was able to pick it up in the store the same day. The setup was simple, only took minutes. The speakers are great...even for someone with poor hearing. I have it usually set at 25 and can hear it just fine. I have only bought it for movies, but I have seen it on regular tv and the picture is awesome. The reason for buying this tv is because my 3 year old son had broke a 19 inch plasma tv/dvd combo that I had bought for maybe $50 cheaper and I love this tv so much more. I do have to say that i miss the no glare on the plasma, but I wouldn't trade this tv for anything. I would definitely recommend vizios to anyone who needs a new tv. Thank you Vizio for making wonderful tvs!

Just had sattelite guy (DISH) come and install, cannot use HD in this room(den/office) for tech purposes. I guess, so its just by itself. Looks OK but a bit fuzzy some places. A bit of a dissapointment today. We will play with settings and see how it goes or have Dish come back and we'll have to upgrade. But overall it is a great value at 298, sound is awesome. Love the tru sound. Bout time that feature came along. We'll be looking into another Vizio 42" or larger for the living room real soon. Thanks Tim

Just bought the 32" E320VL yesterday at Wal-Mart. Paid $298.00 and these things were flying out the door! This is our first Vizio, and the way this one performs it may not be our last. Picture is great, sound is great and it will be even better once I get another DVR from our cable company to give us Hi-Def. I'll post something in a month or so for a follow up.

- Great specs for the price Review by JC
-
After only 4-1/2 years my old 26" Sylavania HDTV bit the dust after it finally refused to turn on any more (a known problem) and it would cost more than it was worth to fix it.
So bought the Vizio E320Vl at Walmart. Saw cheaper tv's by about $50 but then realised after inspection that they usually had only 5 watt speakers with low specs. Then I compared the Vizio with it's 10 watt speakers and Tru-surround with the 100,000-1 contrast for picture quality, i was sold. For overall Price to quality and feature ratios, this tv far outstrips the competition.I waqsn't disappointed when i turned it on and have been happy with it ever since.(Posted on 1/28/11)

This amazing tv comes just as close to a plasma picture! They run cooler and last longer then a plasma tv. We have had other tv's in the past and this one beats them all! We currently have a 19" sharp tv in the bedroom and this tv is not very good! We just LOVE the vizio tv and will definitely be buying another one in the future! From here on out this is the ONLY brand we will be buying! We've watched both regular and blue-ray dvd's on it, played netflix, and also the will system and the color, picture, sound and everything about the tv is incredible! We got this tv just this past December of 2010. We LOVE it! Thanks Vizio! Keep up the good work!

- Second Vizio Review by whtwolf
-
I recently purchased the E320VL to hook up to the home theater computer that I just finished building, and it works great as a monitor to watch the streaming Netflix movies.
The first Vizio that I purchased was a 42" refurb that I found on line for $600, and it has worked flawlessly for almost 4 years. I have used the 42" as my home theater monitor, and has a great picture on DVD's, Blu-ray, video games, streaming video, recorded TV, and my work network.
I have confidence that this 32" will preform to the levels of it's big brother, and I thank Vizio for making a superior product that only costs a fraction of the Japanese manufacturers products.
You may be asking yourself why I have spent all of the time and effort to go the home theater route, but you have never seen the wonderful local 480 cable signal!(Posted on 12/12/10)

We were looking for a new TV for our bedroom so that we could move our current tv to the den and the den tv upstairs for guests. As we already own 2 Vizio's (42" & 47"), I was hoping our new purchase would be a Vizio. When I walked into Sam's Club and saw this 32" Vizio with a price I couldn't believe!! Set it up in seconds and we couldn't be happier with our THIRD Vizio!! Thanks for your great products!

I was still using my old (15+ years) RCA 32 inch CRT (HEAVY!!!) set with a pretty good picture but the LCD HDTV bug finally bit. After looking at alot of sets and hearing only good things about Vizio...I found my 32 inch on sale at Walmarts for $298.00. I can't say how pleased I am with it's all-around performance and yes, the 1080 is no myth...it's right at the top of some broadcasts when selecting the GUIDE feature. I've only had it since Nov 23rd and I've been cruising thru the menu and experimenting with the multitude of optional settings and adjustments and this GREAT TV is only getting better with each adjustment!!!! I really encourage everyone to experiment with these settings and get all they can out of their VIZIO! Don't just be satisified with the Quick Start Guide settings...there's alot more inside this baby than you can imagine.
As I said, I just got this set about 12 days ago and I'm still experimenting and comparing so there's probably more good news to come. I can only say I'm thrilled with this set....I'm thinking, after a considerable ammount of usage, I'll be back to update my critique...with only good news to report!!
THANK YOU VIZIO!!!!!!!(Posted on 12/4/10)

I just picked up this tv today on sale for $248!, I had previously bought a 32" Vizio 2 years ago as my first LCD and was a little iffy on the buy as I had not heard much about the brand at the time, but was sooo happy I made the purchase. After the enjoying it for the last 2 years in the family room I decided when I seen the sale for this one it was time to upgrade and put the old one in the bedroom.
I brought this home and it was set up in under 5 minutes and good to go. Let me start by saying the picture quality is amazing and the sound is great.
After my first Vizio purchase I have bought two more Vizio tv's (including this one) and two Vizio Blu Ray players I could not be happier and would highly recommend Vizio as there Quality is on par ... if not over par with the BIG brand names. & would and have recommended Vizio to friends, family, & co-workers.
Thanks Vizio for the amazing high quality electronics.(Posted on 11/28/10)

Well i got this TV at walmart for 348 exact. i needed a new tv but didnt want to spend alot on it, Ive heard alot of good about vizio. My friends parents have a 50 or so" Vizio and its great.
When i got this the tag at walmart rated it at 720p, but when i was reading the specs from vizio it said 480, 720p and 1080i. So i said thats just great! And when i started playing on my ps3 that night i found out that it also plays in 1080p! Which was even better for me, i originally settled for the 720 because i have yet to notice a substantial difference in gaming between the 720 and 1080 class. Personally for me ive seen better graphics playing in 720. But finding out i had 1080 for the price i paid was just a shock.
Its only a 32" for the size of my room, But so far i have no complaints and would certainly not have an issue buying another Vizio in 2 or 3 years(Posted on 11/14/10)

After doing some extensive product comparisons, I found that there is nothing on the market that comes close to "touching" my new Vizio 32" (E320VL). I purchased it at WalMart on 10-31-10 for $348.00 and couldn't be happier. The picture is absolutely incredible!!! After connecting the cable to the TV, and I don't have Digital cable, I was able to receive HD channels anyway. What a treat this set is. I would highly recommend this television and have done so already.

This story begins with the purchase of a 'repaired' 37" 1080p Vizio that was never right. I don't blame Vizio because Sam's Club sold it defective.
After a refund (that was no easy matter), we came back to Vizio for this new 32" 720p gem.
I have nothing but praise for Vizio support and now finally, I have a NEW Vizio E320VL product that is finally continuing their good name. Picture, sound and support are superior in every way.
A special thank you to the good folks on the Vizio support lines... who brought us back after the long, wild chase.(Posted on 10/30/10)
- Superb set, Fantastic Value!!! Review by P-Luke

I just had to let you know what a fantastic product you have. I bought my new set almost two months ago, and I still am amazed at the picture quality and features. I had put off buying a new flat screen TV becasue of some of the prices I had seen, but one Sunday, there was an add in the Target flyer for a 32" Sylvania for $287.00.. I figured that I could easily manage something in ths price range and I started checking it out.. I decided that I would try and get the best set I could for this size, even if I had to spend more money. I spent the whole week checking out all the sets of that size at every store that sold them, and by Friday I had settled on this set at WalMart For $358.00.. Some friends who had a Sam's card went with me on Saturday, and when I saw that set for $298.00 I couldn't believe my luck. After reassuring myself that it indeed was that set at that price, I quickly picked it up, along with some cables, and hurried home to set it up.
I can't say how simple and quickly that was accomplised, and what a picture. I find myself watching a lot more TV than I used to becasue this set is such a pleasure to use.
I have told everyone what a fantastic buy this set is, and Somebody upstairs must have been watching out for me, because the middle of the next week I went back with my cousin for him to buy a set, and the price was back up to $348.00 Talk about luck!!! Or Divine Providence, or Whatever!!!!!(Posted on 10/28/10)

I purchased this set, wanting to upgrade from an old Curtis-Mathes 21" CRT. I was always happy with the old CM, but when I bought this Vizio, and of course an HDMI cable, it was like playing every game I own for the first time all over again.
Setup and installation was done in under 2 minutes, and setup of the settings was done in about a minute. Hit Power on the 360 and BOOM. Unparalleled quality vs. value when it comes to Vizio! Also, I too have noticed that it doesn't mention 1080P support, yet the display itself as well as the 360's automatic detection states it is running full 1080P, which was a pleasant surprise for under $400!
All future purchases will be Vizio.(Posted on 10/10/10)

I have been looking for months for a new computer monitor! I wanted something in the range of 20 - 25'. Everything I saw was really expensive and after reading the reviews on almost every brand imaginable, I just gave up. I walked into Sams one afternoon and just as I walked into the store there it was. A 32' inch Vizio TV. I asked an associate it I could use this as a computer monitor, and he said " of course you can"! The price was $298.00, what did I have to loose! The price for the same size computer monitor was in the $600.00 range. I brought it home, a friend hooked it up for me, he also hooked up my dish network to it, and I was speechless. This Tv has the most brilliant colors, and I have not gotten a HDMI cable yet, so it can only get better. I love this TV!! When my TV in the family room goes out, I will most definately buy another VIZIO! Great price, great picture! I don't have one negative thing to say about VIZIO. Thank you VIZIO for giving us a GREAT American made product !

I have 6 CRT TV's and they just won't die. When I saw the price of this 32" VIZIO, I couldn't resist. I am in charge of an organization and I we 5 flat screens. Over the last 4 years I had to replace 4 of them. Friends of mine that have VIZIO's swear by them. I replaced the last one with a VIZIO and it has the best picture. I ordered mine on line from Comp USA on Sunday and it was delivered on Wednesday. TV was $350 (not a refurb) and they shipped it for $12.57. No sales tax (out of state). The picture is great and I'm not on HD. I couldn't be more pleased.

Bought this television at sams club today for $298.98. Setup is extremely simple was watching tv in less than 5 minutes. the color is bright and vivid with using high def.I am using only the A/V cables for my satellite hookup and it is almost as good as high def. I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone looking for a good buy and excellent quality tv

- Awesome TV at a great price. Review by Cards Fan

There are not enough words in the language to express how happy I am about buying this TV. Set up was extremely easy and price was awesome. The picture and sound is the best I've heard including TV's that are much more expensive. I am still using coax and the white and red cables and the picture is unbelievable. I am going to upgrade next week with the HDMI cables and am on the edge of my seat to see how that looks. Kudos to VIZIO on a great product. I am glad I made the purchase.

I just got this T.V. last night and wow is it ever wonderful. The picture is the best and as you can see from the others, its full 1080p, dont let the store full you. if you are in the market for a television, I really think that you should give this one a try. Its like getting a top of the line tv for the cheapest price.

I had been in the market for a new tv that didn't have a hum noise to it. I was checking out walmart the other day, when I saw that the 32" Visio E320vl was 20% off of $358. I paid $286 for this wonderful tv. I finally set it up the next day and sat in front of it like a five year old with a satisfied grin. Mostly, I didn't break the bank with the purchase. Thanks Visio.

I bought the Vizio this week and man, I could not be happier with it. The kids all love watching cartoons on it. I love listening to my country music. I just can not believe the difference I have seen with other tv's. I paid just 358.00 at walmart and could not have gotten a better deal. It has every feature I will ever need (and plus some) You can not go wrong with this one,.!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Vizio for the most wonderful tv!

I just got this last night at Wal-Mart for $380 after tax! And also, it may say max 1080i, but it turns out it is actually full 1080p! I plugged in my 360 last night and it shows up as 1080p automatically! looks like a marketing mistake to me! All stores should update it to show it is 1080p, because at this price, its a steal. most other 1080p's are around 500 bucks!

- More Than I Could Have Hoped Review by Avidan

I had a very small LCD television (not a Vizio) in my bedroom. It was difficult to see, the volume was terrible, and the picture was only mediocre. After much saving, I finally had the money to buy a new, larger television, and so I started doing my research. Time and again, the Vizio line of TVs came out as the best value, and so I went to my local Walmart and bought the E320VL 32" Vizio TV.
When I got it home, I set it up right away, and I have to say the setup was a snap. I just hit a few buttons when prompted and it was done and ready. Now, I have cable, my PC, Blu-ray, Roku (Netflix) box, stereo, and VCR connected to this television and it handles them all like a champ. The richness of color and stark contrast stand out immediately, the audio is top notch, way better than what I had before, and overall, this TV is more than I could have possibly hoped for, particularly for the money. I am very satisfied and in the future, when I buy a living room TV, it will be a Vizio.

- Awesome picture!!! Review by MmeMoxie

Just purchased an E320VL today. I am totally 'blown away' by the clarity of the picture & I am using the older AV (red, white & yellow) composite connectors, with coaxial TV cable connection. Next week, I will be upgrading to a HD-DVR from DirecTV and using HDMI connections. Can't wait to see the results, either!!!
The setting up of the TV itself, was a breeze. The minute I turned it on, it started doing it's thing & set up in less than 10 minutes. The menu is user friendly, as well. Most everything is self explanatory & should you be confused, the User's Manual is thorough in explaining aspects of the various settings.
One of the reasons that I purchased this model, was because it did have the Analog Audio Output connection. I have a really old AV Stereo Receiver, a 1995 model, that still works perfectly & I needed that aspect to use my stereo receiver. What was a really nice surprise, is that you can turn "Off" the E320VL internal speakers, so you can use an external audio source, like a Home Theater System or AV Stereo Receiver.
I honestly feel that I have gotten a lot of 'bang for my bucks', in purchasing this model E320VL. The price was extremely reasonable, less than $350. I can only say, that I am one very happy camper, right now.(Posted on 7/15/10)
- Excellent Television, Excellent Value Review by MonteS

Our television that we had for 20 years just failed following a power outage. We researched television makes and models as well as the best place to make our purchase. When it came time to make the selection based on the in store display and cost we chose the Vizio E320VL.
We selected the E320VL based on value and features. Dollar for dollar and features offered in this television we got the best unit in the store for size of television we were looking for. There were several makes/models that had similar prices, similar features, but the E320VL had a better looking picture display. One we saw each make/model setting side by side and compared the end product the E320VL won hands down.
When we arrived at home with our new television it was very easy to prepare for use. The programming was intuitive and we were watching programs on our new television in less than 15 minutes.
The E320VL was put into service last night and used again today. The E320VL looks great when the surrounding is dark and light, The picture is excellent any time of the day. The sound is great.
The Vizio E320VL is not only an excellent value it is an excellent television that will meet everyone's television viewing needs. This is the television for all occasions at a great value.
