* The HDD capacity on VIZIO computers may appear to be smaller than the size stated in the product specifications, documentation or on the packaging. This is because manufacturers describe and advertise HDD space in terms of decimal capacity, a base of powers of 10. For example, one Gigabyte (GB) means 109 = 1,000,000,000 bytes. However, Microsoft® Windows and other operating systems and programs report storage capacity using powers of two. Thus, 1 GB = 230 = 1,073,741,824 bytes, and shows less storage space. Smaller capacity may also be reported by the Windows Explorer tool based on information about only one partition of the HDD at a time, with free space reduced by a hidden service or system recovery partition. Available storage capacity will also be less if the computer includes one or more pre-installed operating systems, pre-installed software applications or media content. The storage capacity of the HDD is as advertised but the actual formatted capacity may vary.

Battery life will vary depending on the product model, configuration, features, applications and power management settings. Wireless functionality will also impact battery life. Published battery life times are the results of testing performed on select models and configurations at the time of publication. Over time and as is normal, the battery will not perform at its maximum capacity and may need to be replaced. Replace the battery only with approved parts. Battery life is based on MobileMark [2007] testing. For additional details, see MobileMark [2007] battery testing at:

Customer Reviews
- Pleased with my Vizio CT15-A2 after the trackpad issues were fixed Review by PC Mod

A great and striking Ultrabook with a 15.6-inch 1080p screen that is exceptionally clear complemented by an Ivy i7 3rd Generation Intel processor. The 256GB SSD allows fast for a swift boot and shutdown and it's really responsive during gaming and daily use. The system comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Signature version of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit; the OS comes without any annoying additional software/bloatware. I purchased mine for $999 plus taxes at the Microsoft Store after discounts before departing overseas.
The Vizio support team contacted me to let me know that new drivers were available for the machine after registering on the Vizio website which is really nice and shows their commitment for the product.
Like many other users have pointed out the battery life not as advertised with an average of 3 to 4 hours of usage compare to the 5.5 hours marketed.
The abbreviated keyboard takes some time to get used to it and after you are familiar with the shortcuts it's a breeze to use and enjoyable.
The Sintelis trackpad was horrible and I experience an unresponsive trackpad multiple times, as Vizio release the updates for the trackpad performance improve but it was not until I receive the Sintelis trackpad update via the Microsoft Windows Update at the end of August that all the problems with the trackpad disappeared and finally I can leave my mice in the bag.
Like other users pointed out there are no accessories for this machine. The CT15-A2 don't come with a wired Ethernet adapter to use in case that wireless is not available; but adapters range in price from 15-30 dollars and I got a Gigabit Ethernet Adapter for $25 to use on locations overseas the US that doesn't offer wireless.
I highly recommend the Vizio CT15-A2 especially after the trackpad issues are solved; the system is a bargain if you compare with other Ultrabooks in the market.(Posted on 9/3/12)

Vizio did an awesome job designing this thing! The looks of a Mac, without the Mac!

- clean design Review by kdivecha

This is a spectacular design, clearly one of the best 15" ultrabooks i have seen so far, very clean design (i.e. no redundant ports rj45, vga etc), however I would like to see a chiclet style keyboard and solid block aluminium body (non-wedgy design). Also I think the use of oled display may help reduce the thickness of the display screen, thus bringing down the overall thickness of the laptop to around .5 inch. But this is definitely a step in the right direction, good to know someone besides apple can design as well
