This is a fantastic unit. We went from a 13 year old 27" tv to this unit and are loving every second. My wife is now happy that she can read the tickers during sporting events, especially NASCAR. I of course just drool at the picture clarity. The product us well designed, the menus are easy to navigate. Now with this 42" in our living room, we can watch our dvd's and feel like we are in the movie theater. Mmmmmm, is that butter popcorn I am smelling?

My wife and I just bought this new 42'' LED/LCD Visio and are really impressed with it. The picture on it is sooo clear, the cost was reasonable. I bought this to replace the Visio 42'' LCD I had in the living room, I've had it for 3 years, it works great still, I just was so impressed with the LED one, I had to get it. We now have 3 Visio's in the house, I may get another one for our Everest 5th. wheel we use in the summer.

Received my first VIZIO as a birthday gift from my daughter and son-in-law. Very easy to set up and use, great picture. Had a little problem with the sound in the begining. Had volume fluctuations occur when changing channels. Made one telephone call to a technician and he straightened it out within a couple minutes. Great tech support.
I should have read the user manual, because it did explain what should have been done to rectify the problem.
I would not hesitate to buy another VIZIO if and when I will be looking for second set.(Posted on 10/1/11)

I simply can not say enough positive things about this tv. I have heard some people say that the sound is of lesser quality. I have absolutely no problems whatsoever with mine. Very easy to assemble the base to the tv, not overly heavy and the picture...I could go on and on for days about how stunning the colors are. For the past 15 years, I have been watching tv on a 27in. RCA, I have seen other flat screens, but none match the overall quality of the Vizio Razor. This is an amazing treat and the 42in. size is just perfect for my living room. I feel like I am at the theater. My 2 year old daughter loves it so much that every morning when she wakes she says "Watch the big tv?" Sound, colors, images, speed..this is the most perfectly crafted tv I have come across. Thank you Vizio for such an amazing product and honestly, the price is more than what I budgeted to pay but sooooo worth it. Its really not expensive at all when you come down to what you get after you pay for it. Extremely pleased with my purchase!

I love this TV. I had a 32 inch LCD flat screen that went out just 14 days after my warranty expired and I didn't get the extended warranty shame on me. So that got me in the market for a new TV and I really wanted a LED TV and a bigger TV but didn't want to spend the considerably increase in price for the new technology. That's when I found this TV! At 42 inch, LED, and only $700 it truly in a bargain. The picture is very good for movies, gaming or just watching regular cable. Even the standard def you can see a difference in picture quality. My favorite feature is the POP feature in which the TV divides the screen up into equal portions side by side and you can have to different inputs showing. So I can watch my favorite show or a game while I play my XBOX at the same time! Its so awesome :) This TV is worth the price and it looks really good too!

This is my third vizio that i have owned since 2004. I will have to say that this 42" vizio led lcd is by far the best tv i have ever owned. The picture is great and the menu options are great for the money spent. This is really a great investment for 699.99 and i would recommend this vizio or any vizio product to anyone with no hesitation. Thanks vizio for keeping the price reasonable and giving your customers great quality for the money spent.

I got this tv 3 days ago and I am really happy that i went with this TV. I did a lot of research and was pretty close to buying a lcd samsung in the 700 dollar price range. Dont get me wrong, the samsung had a really good picture but the picture on the Vizio is great too plus it is a led. I had to test out the vizio with the Earth Disney movie and i was blown away by the smooth and vibrant picture. Im a college student and have this tv in my room. All my room mates were impressed with this beast and gaming on this thing is stuning. If you think Vizio's are crappy tvs....think again my friend.
