† The HDD capacity on VIZIO computers may appear to be smaller than the size stated in the product specifications, documentation or on the packaging. This is because manufacturers describe and advertise HDD space in terms of decimal capacity, a base of powers of 10. For example, one Gigabyte (GB) means 109 = 1,000,000,000 bytes. However, Microsoft® Windows and other operating systems and programs report storage capacity using powers of two. Thus, 1 GB = 230 = 1,073,741,824 bytes, and shows less storage space. Smaller capacity may also be reported by the Windows Explorer tool based on information about only one partition of the HDD at a time, with free space reduced by a hidden service or system recovery partition. Available storage capacity will also be less if the computer includes one or more pre-installed operating systems, pre-installed software applications or media content. The storage capacity of the HDD is as advertised but the actual formatted capacity may vary.

    * Used to cache OS and frequently used files for speed boost. SSD does not add to storage capacity.

Love It ! Review by Brat2day

I have been very satisfied with my all-in-one and feel like it was a great purchase. It has a visual WOW factor and the system is awesome. I would like to be able to purchase a wireless 10-key to go with the package as I do a lot of numbers work and an actual mouse would be nice also. .

    A stunner! Review by Steve

I had done a lot of homework and comparison shopping and was just on the edge of buying a new all-in-one late last year when I first caught on to the summer release date of the Ivy Bridge chip. I decided to wait, and am glad I did because the additional time allowed me to find the Vizio. For the specs, aesthetics and price, I decided to 'bite', even though this is Vizio's first foray into the world of PCs.

I had the hardware set up within minutes, then it took maybe 5 or 10 more to initialize Windows. Within a half hour (part of that time was also in setting up a new wireless laser printer), I was off and running.

I'm super impressed with the speed. Because the OS is on the built-in SSD, full boot-up time is within seconds. Web pages open immediately. Software just kicks it.

The fact that it doesn't have a DVD drive didn't phase me. I was aware of that from my research and was already prepared with an external drive. I only need it for the installation of software, otherwise for me, a player sits there without much use so I'm glad I can disconnect it and keep my desktop clean. I have a TV room for watching movies, so sitting at my desk for two hours to play one isn't my thing anyway.

I already had a pair of silver Bose speakers that I used on my old PC hidden within my desk and in a happy accident, the subwoofer looks like it was meant just for them and was easy to conceal as well. I actually can't vouch for the sound quality of the built-in Vizio speakers because I went straight to using those instead.

My only complaint so far is with the trackpad. Although it fits perfectly beside the keyboard and matches the clean and simple aesthetic, I've had too many years of mousing it, so I will probably get a bluetooth mouse. I did find the trackpad to be sluggish in moving the cursor when it wakes back up from sleep mode.

All in all, I'm extremely pleased with the purchase. It looks great, performs spectacularly and the 27" monitor is perfect for my aging eyes.

A great all-in-one that could do with some slight improvements Review by Matt

Vizio nailed this design right out of the gate by building all of the computer's components right into the base. It's an excellent functional and aesthetic choice, as all the ports are easy to get to while at the same time reducing the appearance of clutter from wires hanging out of the back of your screen. Additionally, the space-saving design of putting the power supply in an external box with a subwoofer is pretty slick. This machine is just straight up gorgeous sitting on a desk, it's hands down the best looking all-in-one on the market. I'm not going to bother reviewing performance; it's an Ivy Bridge Core i7 with a discrete graphics card and 8GB of RAM. You know if that's enough for you or not. There are a couple of quibbles that I have with it however, or that I know some other people will have based on my usage.

    1) 1920x1080 isn't a super high resolution for a 27" PC monitor. Apple and HP both have computers with 2560x1440 monitors. For me it's not an issue, the resolution is just fine, but I understand that some people may wish it came with at least an option for a higher resolution screen.

    2) I hate using the trackpad. Trackpads on laptops are a design necessity not a design choice, and including ONLY a trackpad for a desktop is ludicrous to me. They could easily have squeezed a small Bluetooth mouse into the packaging and given you the choice of what to use. As it is, right now I'm using a cheap wired mouse I had lying around and I'm 10x happier using the computer than I was with the trackpad. I'll be buying a Bluetooth mouse soon, but I wish they had included one with the computer that would perfectly match the rest of the set.

    3) The keyboard isn't great. I don't have a problem with the lack of a number pad, but the flat, smooth keys on the keyboard are hard to type on without looking whenever you need to take your hands off the letter keys. Even just hitting "Enter" or "Tab" is a little harder than it should be. That said, the learning curve is pretty quick and I'm mostly used to using it after just a day.

    4) I wish there were more USB ports. I would gladly ditch the eSATA port on the back for an additional one or even 2 more USB 3.0 ports.

Overall this is a fantastic all-in-one that could stand to have some minor improvements done in the future. I definitely recommend buying it, I love mine!

No disc drive Review by Johnnie

This is great except for a disc drive for installing programs and stuff.

    Great! Review by Drinian

I was lucky enough to be able to get one of these early through a Vizio special at the Microsoft Store. I am so far very impressed with the system. It was super easy to set up and the build-quality feels high.

I was comparing this to an Apple iMac but the combination of price and the Vizio brand (which I have been very happy with) won me over.

Stunning Computer, Well Priced, Wish They Would Change The Font on Keyboard Review by Vick

This is a beautiful and very elegant computer, very well designed and priced. I feel like I got a lot of bang for my buck and it works really well. The only issue I have with the aesthetics is the font on the keyboard. I wish they went with something more traditional for the font, and perhaps went with a black chiclet keyboard akin to their competitors.

But that's purely aesthetic, and otherwise, I have no complaints. This was a great buy.
