Online reviews I read at a large retailer's site for the VBR140 -- after just having purchased the player -- were not very positive, but I thought I would give it a try since I have two Vizio LED TVs and Sound Bar, all of which I am pleased with. I tested it at home briefly before wrapping it as a family present. Blu-ray and DVDs both played well without problems. Setup to adjust video output was easy. Connecting to my wireless network was also simple. Same for Netflix. (Netflix was a little slow to load, however.) I streamed long parts of several different movies without problems. The Netflix image looked good, as did the Blu-ray and DVD images, on a 55" 1080p screen. So, a quick test seems to bode well. The remote needs to be aimed fairly accurately and some buttons were a little tricky at first, but were not a problem once I got a feel for it. I'm not sure if this is already a discontinued product but several stores have it presently under $90. A good deal.

Easy to set up, Great for the price. Apps included. hulu, youtube, amazon, netflix, vudu, web videos, pandora, rhapsody, picasa. The only thing I didn't like is that it has no google. cant realy surf the web. But cant complain only cost $88.00.

Purchase this device yesterday, had it completely connected in a matter of minutes. AWESOME device!! Not real crazy about the design of the remote, buttons are too small, other than that this is a great buy!

Killer device and very affordable!! Review by Windy

This is a super device. I have a wired Ethernet, use Netflix streaming and watch BluRay, DVDs, and use MP3 CD audio. All work very well. The Netflix setup is very easy with an onscreen keyboard to set your account information. Streaming is flawless for several hours on my wired Internet connection. For a around $100, this is a very functional device. I'm very happy.
